how are u doing post op? I'm 13 days out and feeling fabulous...Who doesn't love delicious Protein shakes? From the cloyingly sweet taste to the fart-o-riffic aroma, there's something for everyone in these babies! You can choose your flavor--butt with chocolate, butt with vanilla, or butt with strawberry! OR splash in some sugar-free Torani Syrup and kick it up a notch for butt with chocolate AND English toffee!
But yeah, I've made it through 3 days of my pre-op diet. Ten more to go before I'm sleeved and then I get to have...
MORE DELICIOUS Protein SHAKES!!! WOOHOO!!!!

vistit: www.TrinityMedical.orgI'm having a hard time finding any info on either TM or Dr. Mauricio Gutierrez?
-
correction*Dr. Gutierrez patients were the only ones without any IV ports still left in their hands/ arms..Dr. Gutierrez and his team are running a $3999 New Year's special that will be ending soon! Greatest staff/team! Dr. Gutierrez has done over 3500 bariatric procedures, Zero complications, everyone on his staff speaks English and are very compassionate.. #best #bariatric #surgeon out there. I'm not trying to bash the other facilities but when I went in for x-rays that Monday for my leak test, dr. Gutierrez patients were the only ones with I viewports left in the hand/arm. Dr. Almanza's patients were very frail, pale and just not doing too well.

www.TrinityMedical.orgSound good but I would still do my research on the surgeon and facility. Glad your Uncle is doing well. I see this is your first post and it sounds like an advertisement.
"Obesity Control Center quality at Dr. Almanza prices".
OCC is a Center of Excellence with an entire staff of medical professionals.
Dr. ariel Ortiz is an FACS Board Certified surgeon.
Dr. Gutierrez was trained by Dr. Ariel Ortiz and has done over 3500 surgeries!

I am pleased to share my wonderful experience with Trinity medical! I had my surgery by Dr. Gutierrez on January 16, 2015. The medical staff there so compassionate and there for your every need. When we went in for x-ray Monday morning I noticed a large amount of patient sitting in the waiting room with IV is still hanging out of their hand/arms.. Zero these patients were Dr. Gutierrez patients.. The clinic was literally next-door to the hotel which was a very nice hotel my mother and sister accompanied me, it was a very clean environment that provided Breakfast for their (non surgical) guests. Our personal nurse Nathan was their night and day to provide us anything that we needed. There is a full medical staff at hotel to look over and assure of health and comfort level. I have never been treated with so much respect medically. Their bedside manner is over and beyond, I am so grateful that Dr. Gutierrez had time to work on me personally! I am six days post surgery now and doing very well, I recommend Trinity medical for any of your bariatric needs. -stacey tapiaThe website is www.TrinityMedical.org. I understand there's a new, revised website in the works. I know that they're running a New Year special for $3999.00 - offer ending soon. My Uncle had surgery there and is down 34 pounds his first month. Everything is clean, each patient has a private room with a private bathroom, and there was no pain, no vomiting, no nausea post-op and saw Dr. Gutierrez before surgery and 5 times post-op! Dr. Gutierrez personally pulled my Uncle's drain tube and reviewed his X-ray. Couldn't ask for better service, professionalism and a great quality surgery. His incisions look like paper cuts because all the stitching was done from the inside out and not Frankenstein style stitches like I've seen from patients that came from Almanza while were waiting in X-Ray and sharing experiences. All the staff at Trinity Medical speak English, and super accommodating. This is Obesity Control Center quality at Almanza prices. I am definitely recommending my friends and family to Trinity Medical. I also hear they do Plastics, too. Dr. Gutierrez does a maximum of 5 surgeries per day and we had our nurse/concierge, named Nathan with us 24/7 during our stay. He even went with us to X-ray.

thank u so much!!! I will be intouch ????Yay! Have a safe trip! Good luck!

I'm so ready for this, I'm down 20 pounds from pre op diet and that in itself feels like an achievement ???? surgery scheduled for the 17th, I'm very lucky that my family gets to accompany me.. I've packed small, but my mother has not, haha.. I hope there's room in the medical transport for all of her pressed clothes and makeup! Again very grateful ❤️
My surgery is being done by a team of Dr Paten and Dr Gutierrez, the were trained by Dr. A. Ortiz. I feel 100% confident and not even a little nervous..
I do have some questions about prescriptions and bringing them back across the border, I also have diabetes and gout. I would like to pickup some meds for both issues there because I am not insured and as scrips here are sooooo expensive.

that sticks... Have u been able to try putting some kind of cloth across wherever UR skin touches yet? In the summer months this is my saving grace.. Being from Arizona and have had a complete hysterectomy/ hot flashes and sweating all day long... I have even used paper towels to collect the trapped moisture, double it up and lay it between my skin folds where ever the skin overlaps.. I know that's a bit graphic but that's what this place is for, our good-bad-&ugly! When the moisture is trapped, it begins to grow a bacteria that causes our skin to break down.. My area is my lower tummy.. I hope ur breasts get some relief soon because that no fun... -staceyI use dial as well. Doesn't help
-
how was your surgery how do you feel?I've been home since Sunday...I had the same issues. This morning I feel better for sure. It is crazy how much pain that can cause though!
-
have you tried Gas-X strips? I was told they work well...It went well. I've got to get over being gassy before I can go home, other than that it went well. I've been trying to walk to get over it, but it's not working.

my starting weight was 335.8, I'm still pre op and on my liquid fast.. Glad to say I'm now down 17.6 pounds from New Years! Surgery in 4 days!!!!!!! Good luckI was sleeved on Dec 4th. My starting weight was 334. I am currently at 296 and holding. I'm at my first stand still and it's driving me crazy. The weight is coming off from my legs and face but not my hips. This is causing my pants to not change at all in fit. It frustrates me that I can't wear jeans still. I am slightly bigger than a 28 and am just anxious to get down to a decent fitting 26 so I can get back in cute jeans!!! Of course the idea of an end result of non plus size clothes is even better. Does anyone else have a hard time imagining the surgery working to slim you so much? I've never been thin. I guess in my head it was decided years ago I Never would be and now it's hard to change that.

@@shizwiz if you take your cards you should contact UR carriers so that they don't freeze your account thinking that it is a scam or somebody's ripping you off... I have never been to Tijuana but I have been to Rocky Point many times.. And if for any reason you use their banking down there, there will be usually an international 3% fee... Just a heads up..! By the way I think your 100$ in small bills will be fine.. I'm not sure you'll be up to shopping much, lol..I plan on bringing cash for tipping to Mexico- I have 100 in small bills. Will my credit card work down there, too? Someone said to bring more cash for the pharmacy, etc...but I have never been a fan of carrying a ton of cash on me. Will my credit cards work in the pharmacies and stores??
Thanks!

good job! U look incredible!!!!UPDATED PICS FROM PLASTIC SURGERY:) LOVING LIFE!
-
have you tried dial antibacterial soap? U use this daily! I think it's the best thus far! This is gonna sound crazy, but I have been dealing with yeast issues for a while now. One thing that I use to try and help control it a little is deoderant! It helps some, but it doesn't keep it away for good. I've still had breakouts, but far less painful for sure. I'm hoping once I have this surgery, that I will get my insurance to cover my plastics due to the fact I have severe issues with yeast problems already even though I shower daily and take procautionary measures :/. A girl can dream right?!

you should try and lay in observing cloth in between your folds this will observe the moisture and pulled away from your skin.. Hot flashes are evil, I've had a complete hysterectomy myself and am still having about 6 to 10 hot flashes a day.. That's a trick I picked up throughout the years.. I hope it helps, warm hugs new friend, Stacey-Mines from moisture. I sweat like a ***** in church since my hysterectomy. Right now it's 23° outside and I just told hubby to turn the heat down cause I was sweating with just a sheet on. It's in the stomach folds as well. But on my back, arms neck it eczema and dry skin. I also have been getting hives so benadryl is my bff too.

i think this is a swell idea, make his mouth drop!!! Good luck!!!My boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me 4 months ago because he said i gained too much weight (His words your just too fat) and he was no longer attracted to me. I was sad at first but now I've healed and my surgery is 2 days away!!!. He tries to call me at least once a month but I ignore or text him please don't call unless its an absolute emergency.
I am a bridesmaid in my besties wedding in July and he still has my bridesmaid dress at his apartment. Can't wait to call him out the blue 50 lbs down and ask oh can I meet you at a coffee shop to pick up my dress !
Oh and I haven't really thought about him in 2 months I've started an online business and I literally eat sleep and breath my business which has been great in distracting me from food during my all liquid diet. I am not obsessing over it or anything just wanted to share my story and thought it might be cute to see the look on his face. He has no idea I'm getting the surgery! Mentioned it once but didn't want to tell anyone until I was approved. Found out 2 days after we broke up!
Any stories or advice? Thanks!

is the rash skin breakdown from moisture or is it a dry itchy rash? I have not heard it being from yeast b4.I haven't even had my surgery yet and my boob and stomach rash are super bad. I'm hoping I'll be able to get the insurance to cover them

well your brother-in-law's a jerk, usually narcissistic people can see any further than the tips of their noses... You can tell him that his advice is unsolicited and not appreciated... I apologize for being crude... You don't need that type of discouragement, good luck to you and God Bless -staceyAlready getting nasty comments from my brother in law saying I didn't need the surgery I was just being lazy! Feeling really upset!
