luvmyseab got a reaction from FairySleeve in NSV shout outs
I am almost 4 weeks post op. Although my NSV's are not as huge yet, I can say that:
    I'm down 31 lbs
Friends and family can SEE the difference in my face and chest.
Measurement wise I am down 2 inches in both waist and hips, AND 4 inches in the chest.
Although I haven't tried on jeans yet, I can tell a difference in the stretchy waist pants I've been wearing.
And when I went to buy new sports bras last weekend, I have gone down a size (huge accomplishment).
My next appointment is tomorrow and hopefully I will be cleared to do more exercise as I was told to walk 30 min. a day... Only! However, I am so pumped with the weight loss right now that there are not enough words to describe my excitement and motivation! Especially since I have done every diet imaginable and countless exercises in the past and lost nothing. Granted my thyroid problems haven't helped, but this surgery is helping me to change that and get back to a healthy weight.

luvmyseab reacted to S(he) be(lie)ve(d) in Lower-end BMI Sleeve Surgery. Any others?
I began with a lower BMI as well. Currently I am 4 weeks out. My surgery was Sept 8th. The 1st month was brutal. In the beginning I felt amazing! Then the exhaustion kicks into gear. Of course it didn't help that I also ended up with a horrible head cold 2 1/2 weeks post-op. But, I'm fully recovered from my cold now. I'm finally at the point where I feel like I can function like a normal person and am feeling amazing again! The dreaded 3 week stall is over, for now anyway. This has been the best thing that I have ever done for myself! It's me time! Time to get me healthy, happy and regain my self confidence again. Even on the hardest days, I never once regretted my decision to get the sleeve. I'm so excited for what's a head!!! Good luck to you on your journey as well!

luvmyseab got a reaction from Holly-wood in January Sleevers ❄️
Hi everyone! I was sleeved on Jan 6 th. I too struggled with gas and pain. I discovered Gas - X strips and they were a life saver! Also, for a more restful sleep, go get 1 or 2 body pillows. I have been sleeping in my bed since coming home from the hospital, and have 2 body pillows (1 for each side) that pending on which way I laid, I would put one side between my legs and hug against the tummy, and the other to support my back. Worked wonders!
