I think your concerns are valid. I would just be worried that if either one of you need help getting up etc that it would be difficult. On the other hand I think it's an awesome thing to do together. -
I started my pre-op diet yesterday! So far so good! My mom felt horrible eating in front of me and was actually gonna go hide while she ate, but I was fine! Less than 2 weeks to go!

Does your surgeon require you to take a laxative the day before surgery? Mine says to do a clear liquid diet the day before and at noon take a bottle of citrate of magnesia
