I prayed alot had a FEW breakdowns but now I'm here. I reached my first goal before my two months!! I have not taken a blood pressure pill since I was sleeved and no knee swellings..praise be to God!! This will be one of the best decisions of your life!! I will be praying for you!! Let me know how you are!!

    Gallbladder

I was sleeved and had my gallbladder removed dec 2014..I was out of work 4 weeks...my recovery took about three weeks...by looking at others on the site there is not much of a difference... what you don't want is to be sleeved and then later have your gallbladder out! I heard one lady on here say she wishes she did it all at once!!
  15. @@SeptemberSlimmer1960 sounds like you are doing good too!! Thank you for sharing! I am not eating near enough to get my protein sources from food. So protein suppliments it is!! I have a couple of women in my office that are vets and are very helpful. So I know what you mean by a buddy! But this site is awesome!! I have learned sooo much. I just started walking myself because I have just gathered enough energy to! So I will build from there! I refuse to beat myself up but I am very motivated to lose my ultimate 100 pounds by December 17th. This is a chance of a life time that thought I would never get! Just blessed to receive such a gift!! WLS!!!

    I don't enjoy food anymore.

Ladies...it will get better I promise! You just have to give it time...be patient with your new tummy.. I had my gall bladder and the sleeve done at the same time on 12/17/14..I had atleast 4 breakdowns...thought it was the worst decision of my life...I am still struggling with the protein and liquids but I am determined to get it right...b12 for energy it has helped me tremendously. ..make sure you are chewing chewing chewing...I still can't enjoy lots of foods but the ones I can I eat the heck out of them...lol...as soon as you feel full stop eating even if it is not the amount intended...let your tummy be your guide...I just ordered genepro on amazon going to try that... I am taking this (pic below) to help with hair loss until I can get my proteins right...can't tolerate shakes...I just woke up one day and things were better... I hope you both feel better soon!!!
  17. Or anyone 12/17ish??? Lol
  18. 7 weeks post op today and down 38 pounds..I am happy about my progress..it's getting better and better. I am gaining more energy since starting my b12 and uped my calorie intake to about 500-600 daily ( I am hungry every 2 to 3 hours.) My average weight loss is 3 to 3 1/2 pounds a week so far. I started walking this week since gaining energy to do that! However I stalled in weight loss 1 week before my cycle which was last week and finally lost 1 pound today. has anyone experienced this type of stall and do you experience it every cycle? How many calories are you consuming daily?
  19. Thanks! I will just wait and see I guess.. but the more I read here the more I find out stalls are common..unwanted but common...lol
  20. 5 1/2 weeks post op.. starting weight 239.. pre-op weight 233..post op 203 Will I ever catch up with my thirst again? I probably get down about 35 to 40 ounces of liquids a day and I am still dieing of thirst! Not going to lie my protien intake sucks! Water still feels heavy on my stomach..protein shakes are so heavy and yucky to me now.. will be ordering some genepro! But my urine scares me it's a liquid gold not pretty light and clear like it used to be! Watered down crystal light and orange juice is all this sleeve likes at the moment! ! Watered down apple juice (kinda). I feel as if I sip ALL day! All I wanna do is drink... I am truly not hungry!! I admit I drink alot more than I eat. I truly do not want my kidneys to fail on me or my bladder to get infected! Please any sugesstions on how to get down more liquids?!
  21. That is what I thought as well..thank you all...atleast I can text and watch TV today getting better....but just when you think you are getting a routine down...then wham...this hits..emotional...just praying to make it through...
