Jessica Radcliff reacted to Teebaby in Chest pain when swallowing
I am 5 days post-op with a hernia repair as well and I am having the same experience. The best way to describe it is I can feel everything travel down after I swallow. It hurts a bit and feels very weird at the same time. All I know is I can't wait for it to go away because it makes it difficult for me to want to drink anything.

Jessica Radcliff got a reaction from coleenrenee in CrAnKy! With a capital B!
My family just keeps asking if I'm taking my depression meds. Obviously they don't get that not being able to eat anything and only drink clear fluids, feeling sore, and tired will make someone a bit touchy. Oh and to mention those depression meds are a b* to get down anyway

Jessica Radcliff reacted to Salonboi in Way to keep track?
Measuring is the only way for me. I use My Fitness Pal app . Obviously me eyeing things got me to the weight I was at , so I figure why take the chance. It takes some getting used to but, it makes me feel confident I did everything correct and if any issues arise, I can look back and adjust accordingly.

I don't really measure my liquids. I'll have a cup of broth then a sugar free pop then tea and over and over some cups are big some not. Any app or helpful ideas on how to keep track? I don't want to have to measure everything.

I have been feeling hunger since I woke up from surgery! That was an unpleasant surprise for me! I have to track each bite of food and constantly drink Water, tea etc to keep full.
