Thanks for responding, I didn't even think of it as being a trigger for bread again.. I think I'll stay away from it, as I'm to new with the surgery, and don't need to undo all progress.. Thanks for bringing that to my attention ????
  8. The one time I don't mind being called a loser hehehehe..... And it really does help, just getting things off your chest on here..
  9. It was around the 3 week mark and lasted 2 weeks for me. Each week for me after surgery was a new progression of diet. So soft food phase for me started stall. You just can't worry it's not gonna work, cause its gonna do what it is designed to do. We're hardly able to much, so our bodies are trying to pull a starvation mode thingy, and saying hey, we're not getting enough, let's hold onto everything. And if you are doing all of your water plus protein, you will start losing again. I bumped up my calories naturally, and that snapped my stall. But it was because I felt hungry, and wanted a bit more. Not a forced type situation.. It's scary knowing everyday, our honeymoon phase end is approaching, and yes it's still a ways off, but when you follow rule to the "T" we're like WTH.. Why am I not losing faster. But getting caught up in the numbers game is maddening. I knew the surgery wasn't gonna make it all come off in a month or two, but everyone said it just melts off. And for some that is true, and others it's not. And unfortunately that's just the way a person is built right!? But essentially, it goes back to not comparing yourself to any other persons journey with WLS. We all, as you know, are unique and have different health factors that determine our progress. I wish you continued success. ????????????❤️ Thanks Salonboi. I needed that. We all do expect the weight to just melt off. As frustrating as it is to not see the scale move, I know it will. Patience is not something I'm known for but I guess now is as good a time as any to really try and learn it. It does come off, much quicker than if we didn't have surgery... Patience isn't something I have a lot of either, but I'm learning..

    ????CarbQuik????

Thanks for responding ???? I'm still to nervous to try.... I don't want a gummy type ball in my stomach, hurting for hours ????
  15. Seems your on the mend.. Wishing you the best .. Hang in , I believe it does get easier .. Take care. How have you been doing? I'm still trucking along ???? still miss certain foods, but it's gotten easier as the days pass. We had a birthday party for my son day before yesterday, and I even grilled all the meat. I had some of a burger and a few bites of a blackened hot dog (which I love)... Now mind you it was very small amounts of both.. The burger made me sick, as I've had a turkey hot dog before with no issues. It lasted 4 hours. Yes 4 hrs.... I was miserable. I'll definitely try it again in the future... I was proud of myself, in that I didn't sample the cake or ice cream, for fear of getting sick lol.. That's really been it, just super busy at work and living my new life.. I hope it's good on everyone's end too...
  16. So sorry you've had such a bad experience so far.... I'm so glad you are doing better... Please keep us updated on how you are doing... And I'm not the grammar police, so no worries here lol. I know it bugs some, but not me. I'm sure I make mistakes all the time lol...????
  17. It's so hard to not weigh yourself.. I do that and measure, everyday.
  18. I lost 25.2 pounds just from surgery, during those 3 weeks. Then a 2 week stall ???? but losing again now... A total of 49 since pre-op diet to today. And I weigh everyday. Yes it's an obsession, but it motivates me.
  19. That sounds delicious. And yes! I mix the chocolate and vanilla fair life between my meals to get both my calcium and protein in! Where can I buy unflavored protein powder? Yayyayayayayayyyyy this is great news!So glad your stall has ceased! Mine has started to as well:) it's a fantastic feeling. I get my protein powders at GNC So happy for you that your stall is now in the past. I got below 300 today. I'm 299 on the dot ???? yay
  20. Ok it's exactly a week today since my surgery, and no BM this whole time. I took 2 ex lax pills crushed up yesterday, and nothing. I crushed 2 more today and so far nothing. It's obviously only been liquids for the last 3 weeks, and today is first day to incorporate puréed food. So obviously nothing should have come out in that area anyways right? I have no cramping or discomfort. I am having moments of flatulence ???? so I assume it's working right down there !? Anyone else experiencing similar issue? TIA ????

    ????TMI Subject ????

It took two days, with a dose each day for it to work that first time lol. But as I knew, food really wasn't going in, so nothing should be going out lol.

    ????TMI Subject ????

    Definitely good to know ????

    ????TMI Subject ????

Thanks for response ???? milk of magnesia has been a Godsend ???? I'm finally getting back on track with that part of daily living lol. I did the exlax two times, and never again with that cramping. That sh*t hurt lol
  24. It sounds like you are doing better!? And sounds delicious.. I'm to scared to eat to many carbs, so no fruit for me. I LOVE PB2 . It's great to sprinkle over yogurt, as a topping..
  25. I hope my May Peeps are doing ok? Everyone is being kinda quite!!! Life has been pretty busy with me, being on my 3rd week back at work, so it's understandably crazy for us all getting used to our new lives, eating to live, not living to eat!!! I have one more week and I can full on exercise again. My Bowflex misses me, as does my exercise ball for ab exercises... Definitely ready to start toning again. My stall has been broken, 3 something pounds in 2 days so far ????.. I'm able to wear some clothes I've never fit in, and some I used to love to wear... It's gotten me a bit more pumped to get up, and try on something new/already in my drawers lol. It's like shopping in my own closet.. Hugs and Love and Prayers to you all ????❤️????????
