My daughter had the lapband surgery a year and a half ago and has lost quite a bit of weight. However, the whole time since the surgery she has been plagued with diarrhea. She never had it before the surgery. She is a teacher and it is difficult for her to get to the RR, and often when she has just returned fromn the RR, she needs to go again. It is not the kind of diarrhea where you can wait to go- it is the "right now" kind. I hope someone will have some answers for her- it is a real problem!! Thank you!!!

She is a teacher and often cannot leave her class to go to the RR, so it is a real problem for her. Also, she said when she does go to the RR, often within 5 or ten minutes, she needs to go again. It is not the kind of diarrhea where you can wait- it is the "right now" kind!!! I hope someone will have some suggestions for her- thank you!!

Hello, my daughter was banded by Dr. Tersigni in Coos Bay and lives in Central Oregon so we are looking for a Dr. near Bend who will do fills. Anyone know of any, and how much they charge? Thanks!! Elaine

Hi- I thought I would addmy comments about Dr. Tersigne- both my daughters were banded by him last December and both have lost weight- they both liked him and his staff. Odd how you hear negatives and positives. Neither of them has had any problems with the fills. He charged $165 for a fill, but that may be just for his patients- I don't know.
