The 5 day pouch test DOES work!

Congrats!! In December it will be my 3yr anniversary. I just had a baby 3 mos ago and I'm trying to get back on track So i may have to try this pouch test! Wish me luck you all!
  2. I'm 6 weeks and I feel like I can eat a house at times! With my first pregnancy I wasn't this hungry at all. I'm scared that I'm going to gain all my weight back or a good piece of it (I'm 15 mos out and lost 150lbs during my journey). My go to foods that I eat for my protein heavy foods make me sick...I want carbs lol. anyone else having this issue?

    Questions for Alcohol Drinkers ONLY!

i think I had my first drink about 3 to 4 mos after my surgery. At first I couldn't finish one LIT so now I switched to shots lol. my logic is that it's doesn't run the risk of my getting too much sugar and dumping. My tolerance was kinda off but now I'm back to normal ( I can tolerate a lot). as for being afraid that I will become addicted.. I could see that being a problem since you don't have your old ways of handling things. I just work out
  4. my days vary too. Just also depends on how hydrated you are. My doc told me that the days you feel like you can't eat anything you are dehydrated and need more water. it takes me hours to eat one 6 oz steak, I will probably eat 3 oz of it then an hour and a half later be hungry and eat the rest.

    I need help

I was thinking about that but this is my busy season at work and it's hard to get away. I still may do that. I'm just kind of over meat and eggs lol but it's a necessary evil lol (I'm on a fruit kick right now... apples to be exact)

    I need help

so it has been a year and one month since my surgery and I have lost 140lbs but i still have 40 i want to lose. My problem is i don't know what to eat. At my year appointment he was told me how well i did and see you in a year. I have always struggled with what to eat now i really don't know. what are you all eating a year after your surgery? are you all still doing the same limitations on the carbs? I was suppose to only eat 25 net carbs a day.
  7. so sorry to hear about your son. You and your family are in my prayers.

    I have hit a wall!

I miss some days but what I eat doesn't change much from day to day. I just think my body hates me lol. But the crazy thing is I'm in smaller sizes. just that number isn't moving
  10. I just started my reset today! I was going to do all liquids but the way my head hurts I may do the 2 shakes and a meal under 300 calories. we will see how tonight goes. I have had 2 shakes and 2 things of sugar free Jello
  11. On Dec 4th will be my one yr sleeve anniversary, and I haven't lost any weight in like a month. I go back to the doctor on the 16th and I need to do something different. I have been getting tons of Protein getting less than 25 net carbs but I think I have plateaued. So today I have started my per op diet again. 2 Protein shakes and a meal under 300 calories ( 4 to 6 oz lean meat and a veggie), Has anyone had to do a restart and if so what did you do?

    Memorial Day Challenge!

272..didn't reach my goal but I was close
  14. I understand...I have to keep reminding myself that I didn't have the bypass and this surgery is slower weight loss. Which is ok for me...I didn't have any sever health issues before the surgery (wasn't diabetic or high blood pressure). But I was morbidly obese and to not have those problems down the line something had to be done.
