Hi my name is Dara. I am 54, a daughter, a wife of 35 years a mom to 3 and a grandma to 8. I thought about having surgery for about 6 months prior to making my 1st appointment with my Bariatric surgeon. My first appoinment was on Nov 4, 2014. I decided to have the sleeve procedure prior to my first appointment.  I am hoping to gain alot of welcome advise and suggestions from this sight and as I learn sharing with others. My reasons for electing to have bariatricsurgery was for many reasons, health, happiness, self confidence. I am also hopeful it will help with the pain from my fibromyalgia,by releaving my joints from my extra weight.
