Girl, be proud of the size eight!! I was more than happy there (I hadn't seen that since I left middle school!). We are very close number wise. You have done great! I have been sitting here at 156 for about a month. I revved up my running and my body apparently thinks I should stay at this weight now. I am not going to sweat the last six pounds. I am healthy and happy right here.

I hit 199.6 on the scale last night and then woke up this morning to 198.4! I'm so happy today (and it's my 14th wedding anniversary too!). Being under 200 lbs. is such a wonderful feeling, plus it means I've lost 50% of my excess weight. Here's to a fab day!!

Three more pound and I'll be under 200 lbs. Reaching 199 will also mean I will have lost 50% of my excess weight (63.5 lbs.). So happy and excited!!

NSV today!!! They used a "normal" adult blood pressure cuff today at the doctor's office! First time since I was 20!

I logged in this morning to update my weight and realized I'm only 3 lbs. from having lost 1/3 of the excess weight I need to lose to meet my goal. I got a little teary-eyed at the magnitude of that accomplishment. I struggled for so long pre-surgery to make any weight loss progress, that this seems like a miracle. I know I still have a long way to go, but I actually have real hope that I will be able to reach my goal this year. It's rather wonderfully overwhelming.
