I can finally say I can fly without an extension for my seatbelt. Plus I have 6 inches of excess strap. This is a big thing for me because I fly a lot.

Well I typically would bring my own, but southwest has its own unique extension so when I would fly them I would have to ask.

How many calories are you taking in now. If your caloric intake is too few, then boosting it by just a little will kick start your weight loss again. Fir example, if you are eating only 700 calories a day, then boosting it to 800-1000 would bring your body out of the survival mode. But if your caloric intake is on track, then the opposite will happen.

There is one essential component that you left out. The body adapts to the reduced calories, and if too severe a reduction starts conserving energy in order to preserve life. I think it is natural to stall even if doing everything right. Our bodies adjust and then we start losing again.

calories in calories out only works in the movies, or in a perfect world. Just as your body gets use to having 3000 calories, it also gets accustom to 1200 calories. That being said, regardless of what you do, if your body/mind fears starvation it is going to make sure that your internal organs and brain are not damaged if possible. Plus someone mentioned that it is the quality of calories in that matters. If you are eating 1200 calories of high carb then your fat stores are never needed, and the body will happily utilize the carbs. Our body packs away energy stores for emergencies, and the only way to use that up is to not add to it with carbs and sugars.
