  1. Hooray! I believe I finally broke a 28 day stall! Thank goodness!

  2. I am in ONEDERLAND AT LAST!!! Weigh 198 lbs. this morning! It feels amazing, an I'm in a state of disbelief! I've lost 134 lbs. in 10 1/2 months, and 175 lbs. in one year. Thank God for this surgery!!!!!! :-D

  3. Is it just me or does anyone else find themselves skipping treats because they’ll have to be recorded in MyFitnessPal. It’s hilarious to me that having to record everything actually affects my behavior. What did I think before I started using MFP? That calories just disappeared once eaten?

  4. I haven't been on this site for a while since my last interaction wasn't pleasant. However, I am checking in to say, I have lost 83 lbs so far successfully.

  5. I met with a cardiologist yesterday. I definitely feel better after seeing him. He believes having two major surgeries in 8 months has played a huge role. My passing out, dizziness and low heart rate is being caused by 3 things: surgeons using steroids during and after spine surgery has caused my adrenal system to be out of whack which is causing my body to take longer to acclimate to positional changes, dehydration from the ability to swallow much for the last 4 weeks and the nerve in my cervical spine that was impacted and controls heart rate is irritate. He said it is like a perfect storm. An endocrinologist can help me with the adrenal gland issue. Of course Imy throat is getting better making hydration a bit easier and I just have to give that nerve some time to heal. My heart looks very health! Thanks for all the well wishes!

  6. Nervous today. I meet with a cardiologist to see why my heart rate is so low and I keep feeling dizzy/lightheade. I passed out a week ago. All of this following major spine surgery. Off all medications and it is still happening. I hope they don't find anything too scary but need answers. Wish me luck!

  9. After a year and a half of process I am down to the final 16 days of waiting Until my surgery and my Change in health. I can't wait!

  10. Never EVER have I intentionally put a pair of 100% cotton slacks in a HOT dryer....until this morning. And I did so with confidence knowing that however much they might shrink, I would still be able to wear them to work today. I typically do not buy anything 100% cotton because of the shrink factor, but this pair of slacks was such a great buy I took the leap knowing I would not be wearing them for very long. In fact, I even bought the next size down, but am not quick in those yet. These slacks have gotten a little large on me, but are still quite wearable. Imagine my joy when I put them on after drying in the hot dryer and they fit loosely :)

  11. I have officially joined the 200 club! 299 lbs today!

  15. What an exciting milestone for me! I am no longer obese on the BMI chart. As of this morning, I have hit the overweight section of the chart. I cannot wait until I get into the healthy portion. The last time I was not considered obese or morbidly obese was when I was 24 years old. That is over half my life! Woot woot!

  16. I made it to my first big goal! I am down 100lbs as of this morning. Just 10 more to go to get to onederland. And 45 more to get to my ultimate weight goal. Woot. Woot

  17. Ugh! I just got scheduled for a 3 level cervical spine fusion surgery for June 3rd. Having had spinal fusion before I am very nervous. That kind of surgery can be very painful. Hopefully it will solve my neck and shoulder issues.

  23. Today's the day - hour and a half until hospital time.

  24. I came home from work dog tired and wrung out. All the way home I was thinking that I would skip my evening bike ride. But when I walked in the door, I decided to get the bike out and just ride a short time. I ended up taking a slightly longer and more challenging route instead. So from now on when I think I can't exercise, I'll just put myself out there. I might find that I can, after all.

  25. My first post. Been a guest viewer but now decided to sign up. Scheduled for sleeve on May 26. Enjoy all the information I am able to gather from these sites.
