  1. Excited and hopeful for this upcoming week. I see the plastic surgeon on Monday (YAY!), Tuesday I have an 8am session with my physical therapist for myofacial release, followed by a low impact warm water therapy class and finished with my first round of acupuncture. I am relaxing just thinking about it! I cannot wait to get in the water where I feel like a whole new person. YAY me!

Question, @Djmohr - what were your requirements for skin surgery? My doctor told me I had to be maintaining at goal for at least a year before I could be considered. He said there was no point of surgery before I hit goal (for obvious reasons) and he wanted maintenance for a year so I could prove I wouldn't stretch myself out.

      Was your doctor similar?

My Bariatric team is comfortable in moving forward at this time as I hit goal in March an have only fluctuated within 3lbs since. I have been interviewing plastic surgeons at this point. My goal is to get my arms done first and then either later this year or early next doing the rest. The first surgeon I spoke with did not give me a timeframe but did think doing my arms would be perfectly fine now. Financially I could not do the rest and like you, I certainly do not want to be dealing with too much fluctuation. The risk with my arms is worth it to me because they are embarrassing and very heavy. I am still wearing long sleeves just to hide them. Ugh!
