Hit my first stall!! Been at 272 for over a week! :-(

Non scale victories! Loose clothing/buying new smaller clothes, being able to cross legs or not having to use handicapped bathroom stall to be able to manure wiping, not being winded walking up stairs, people being able to put their arms around you all the way...etc. Noticing these things or keeping them in mind really helped me when the scale wouldn't budge during my first stall

I wasn't allowed to even lift my almost 4 yr old until week 6. He's huge though, super tall for his age and weighs in at 40ish lbs. I was encouraged to get back into cardiovascular as soon as I was able. I wish I could tell you that my first time back in the gym was awesome but it wasn't. Took me a while to get my energy back. Glad to know how you're doing!

I am so sorry to hear this. I will think good thoughts for you and your mom. Please don't put off taking care of yourself if you can help it. At 6 weeks post op I feel better and stronger than I have in YEARS. I'm sure your mom would agree that taking care of ourselves is how we are better able to take care of our loved ones.

Nervous about surgery

26 lbs down since surgery, 41 total. Joined a gym today to make myself more creditable to get daily exercise. Been walking 1-5 miles a day depending on my mood!!!
