I'm now 5 weeks post op and have had everything go wrong. A few weeks post op I started throwing up bile. Long story short - they had to remove my gallbladder and I spent 8 days in the hospital because it didn't help with the throwing up. I'm currently home because we weren't seeing any progress at the hospital and I'm still throwing up bile multiple times a day. Went to see a GI specialist today and going to try another new medicine. Can hardly drink anything and I feel so discouraged because I want to drink, but I just throw it up. If anyone has suggestions on drinks - I would really appreciate it! Trying to eat (dr gave the ok to eat whatever I want) every 2 hours and it's a struggle. I feel very bloated and full but dr says I have to try and eat to bring the bile down instead of up.

My dr said that it was my gallbladder. It was working less than 10% so we thought that removing it would help and it hasn't ???? went to a different doctor today and we will see how his medicine works

I'm 7 days post op and I'm feeling very discouraged. I'm starving and I still have a lot of stomach pain. Popsicles, Jello and crystal lite all taste disgusting to me including Water. Tomorrow I start my full-liquids. What do I eat?? What was your first "full liquid" Thanks

I was a week out too and I used benefiber. Just mix it with some crystal light and you can't taste it. It's the best kind. Next morning I went

I've been pretty hungry the last couple of days. Today I've been feeling like its hard to focus on things and I hope to be starting full liquids soon. I still have pain In the right side of my stomach and I don't know why. I have a doctors apt on the 10th. I have problems drinking water or anything I don't know why but it's very unappealing to me. I hope to recover fully and can't wait to start my new life. I've lost 35 pounds since the beginning of my liquid diet!

I had mine September 30th!

I'm 4 days post op and I have yet to have a bowel movement. I'm having a considerable amount of pain in my stomach and I think it's gas but maybe it's because I haven't gone to the bathroom. What do you suggest to help with the pain and get it fixed?
