  1. I've lost more than I weigh. 20 lbs left to goal. I am still trying to find myself , or recognize myself. Was it worth it, yes. Every up and down. I am now officially addicted to clothes. Waiting on insurance co. I had my consult with plastic surgeon, time to get rid of this loose belly fat.

  2. Took the plunge, added pics of me, and my progress to date. Check out my gallery on my profile.

  6. Saw Nurse Prac and NUT today. Need to get more protein in. But overall doing well. I had a surprise I didn't realize, I was 2 lbs heavier when I started the program than I thought, so I made the adjustments. YAY! 34 lbs down since surgery, 57 lbs down since I started the program. I'm at 6 weeks post surgery today. :)

Awesome improvement!!! And it keeps getting better. My last A1C was 5.7. My doc stopped my metformin just before surgery and never restarted it. Same with BP or cholesterol meds. Won't know about cholesterol change until mid-July when I meet with my PCP again.

It's funny to me I can see the most yummy food on tv, I can smell food all day long up and down the hallways of this hospital wing, but I don't care one bit about food. I'm not hungry at all, and I don't care if that lasts forever. If I have to remind myself to eat, and just eat to be nourished, I would be so happy. I've developed a low grade fever since last I wrote, I sweated it out there for a few hours then my pain meds, which contain tylenol brought it down a bit. I am having a shake now, just had my pain med. I am hoping for good news tomorrow. I want to go home. It's time. :) No more fooling around, just time for me to have my own bed, and make my own shakes. :)

I went home after one day but I had a couple of evenings where I ran a low grade fever, but then again I run a fever for any reason! I was probable running a fever because I was constipated! LOL

  10. I am still in the hospital, night 4. Not well enough to go home yet, they say. Feeling sad..

Thanks @judyoz. I just had talk with mu nurse, she assured me I was doing great, trying, really trying to eat right, and drink enough fluids. And of course, she let me know that despite these setbacks, she thinks I'll be fine and i'll be out tomorrow.. Monday the latest.

  11. I'm alive! Some complications, over 4.5 hours on table! But my amazing surgeon got through it. I may have to stay another day. I have no hunger at all. When I am able to write more i'll tell you something funny that happened, Only could happen to me kind of thing. Hope everyone is recovering nicely! Let me know!!!!!

I'm still in the hospital. Hopefully I can go home in the next few days. my chest pains are not improving. I have yet to meet their criteria. Eating full meals"liquid"? , no constant unexplained pain, control of nausea *not even close. id be able to control pain with oral meds. Still on pain pump, and passing gas, That event happened late last night.
