Protein Shakes Not Filling?

I'm not to the surgery yet but have been practicing and trying to cut back. The Protein shakes and fruit and or greek yogurt mixed and I'm still hungry. It doesn't help at all yet. -
First day on pre op diet.

Did you manage to do this? Aren't you allowed fruit or greek yogurt in your shakes for a liquid diet? I have heard also vanilla? I am wondering because I will be there.......in time. Thank you. Jackie -
