I never knew how strong I am until being strong was my only option.

Had surgery 4 weeks ago today at 314 pounds. Today I am down to 293. Is that a good weight loss for the first month., seeing as how I had lost 183 pounds before surgery?

Hello everyone. My nickname is Wia. I just signed up to this site. It was recommended to me by my support group. I am to be sleeved mid March. Looking forward to reading this site to learn, and in time hopefully contribute as well. Thank you to everyone who is contributing here. It looks like a great site full of information and resources. I am going to read up, and learn how to navigate this site, as my surgery date is mid March.

I have officially lost 50#'s !! That is the weight of my 7 year old. Wahooieeee !!!

Back from the dietitian. Lost 20 lbs. during my 6 moth pre-op. Shrink and she have signed off and paperwork submitted. Yay!

I wore leggings, out in public and I haven't found myself on any meme so I'm thrilled!

Half way t my required weight loss before surgery and i still have 25 days before my final weigh in!! I am so much prouder of myself then I ever expected to be!

Made salmon patties for dinner tonight's! Can you say YUM!

Junk food is winning this body battle lately!

Thank God for the pool and weather warm enough to still swim outside.
