You will feel better. I'm 8 1/2 mths out. You will feel that way for a little while. I was drained and no energy for weeks. It's a huge adjustment for your body. But hang in there it does get better!! 120 lbs lost since surgery and 170 total... you too can do it!

Yes gallbladder went great thank you. I love dr smolik! Just remember you may like premier protein now but after your tastes do change... I still drink protein drinks to be able to attempt to get all my protein in at 6 months out. You'll do great! If you have questions don't hesitate to ask.

6 months out the 17th... starting weight of 339, surgery weight of 294, current weight of 188!!! Now have to get the gallbladder taken out Friday by Dr. Smolik. Not feeling the greatest because of that, otherwise I'm feeling good!

Sounds like you're doing great! Yes, I love Dr smolik, that's who I go to. Also the support group meetings they have on the first Tuesday of the month are very beneficial as well if you ever want something extra for support. Great job, you'll do great!

What a great new years resolution for you! Start now on getting rid of crap food... fried, breads, sugar, starches and it will be easier to stay away a couple months after surgery. That's the best advise I can give. Do it now so you know you can commit to the lifestyle change you eed to be successful after surgery. Who is your surgery with?

    June 2014 Sleevers Check In!

How do you get in that many calories? I can only get in about 600-700 a day. I was sleeved 6/17, and can only eat 2 or 3 times a day.

    June 2014 Sleevers Check In!

From what I have read it is normal to have a big stall once you hit onederland! Keep it up, you are doing what you are supposed to. I bet if you keep going the numbers will change. Try giving yourself a jump start, do a couple days with two protein drinks and one lean protein. You'll get there. The less you have to lose the slower it comes off, you're doing good! Keep going, don't give up!

    Protein Peanut Butter Balls

Using PB2 in place (mixed up with Water of course) would lower the calories quite a bit.... you could even use chocolate PB2!! Thanks for the recipe!
