  2. Hi all, Well in July it will be my 2 yr anniversary of my sleeve! I started my journey at 336 and am currently 225! I have gained 10 lbs back since my lowest weight! I haven't lost in about a year and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to get back on the losing train? TIA

Breaking a stall at 2 yrs out?

Thanks for your responses.. I think I am going to try a reboot! My diet hasn't been the best, but I keep excusing it because I'm not gaining! I still want to loose another 50 lbs! Guess I'm going to have to get my butt in gear and do the work! Thanks
  4. So I just felt like I needed to acknowledge and celebrate that 1 year ago I made the best decision of my life! I chose to become a happier and healthier version of myself! Throughout my journey I have had ups and downs, looking back now it was completely worth it! For years I struggled going up and down on the scale, starving myself, binging, trying every pill and diet out there, working out and exercising like crazy, only to fall off the wagon and gain it all back along with a few extra pounds! I got to the point (336 lbs). That I knew I couldn't do it alone! And I made the chose to have the sleeve! Today I'm a whole new person and a whole 121lbs lighter!!!!! It's so crazy to think it has already been a year, it feels like a few months! I can't say enough great things about the life I'm living now! If your just starting your journey I wish nothing but luck and happy vibes! You can do it and even when things look bleak remember that there is definitely a rainbow waiting for you on the other side!!

    Weight gain

It's your body adjusting to the lack of calories.. It will pass! I stalled at the three week mark for three weeks! But your body is thinking its starving so it's holding onto everything, it will adjust and the pounds will melt away, don't stress, just making sure your drinking your water!! Good luck and congrats you will do great!!

    All the Alberta girls

Yeah my stay in Mexico was one night before , one I hospital and two in hotel then home, the flight home definitely wasn't fun, but I also delays and missed connecting flights and had to stay a unexpected night in Denver with nothing! I think day 4 was my worse day for feeling crappy.. But after that it was smooth sailing!

Oh interesting! Lol yeah I'd still have enough chub, but your right it would be very hard to gain any amount back now! Can I ask where you are having your plastics done?

    All the Alberta girls

Hi jadyn! I was sleeved July 25 2014 I'm down 114 lbs since surgery! I too have a bit of loose skin, mostly on my arms and stomach, but it's not that bad! With cloths on you cAnt tell! I think eventually I will have plastics but I still want to lose another 40-50 lbs and try to tighten up on my own!! Can I ask why you have to gain weight for plastics?

    Brag session!

@@Rovobay yeah I'm definitely on the right side now!! It's hard to believe I was so indecisive in the beginning! Wish I would have made this leap 10 years ago!!

    Brag session!

Okay so I know through this whole process I have had ups and downs and I know I'm not the only one!! And right now I'm on an extremely good place but I sometimes feel bad for going on about my progress and how great I feel with my friends, so I thought I would do a post and let everyone share their victories big or small that they want to brag about... A little back ground on me, I had my surgery July 25, 2014, in Mexico! My starting weight was 336 and my weight today is 226! So like I said I'm extremely happy with my progress and yesterday I had a check up with my family doctor and he is as well.. My blood pressure has gone way down, my aches and pains are gone, and best of all my Pcos seems to be disappearing! So medically I'm healthy as a horse, I run/walk 5km a day and actually look forward to my work outs all day! I also had someone come into my office today and told me that whatever I'm doing to keep it up cause she had never seen me so radiant!! Life is wonderful!! So let's hear what your successes have been!!

Good job Jerr_Bear!! That's what it's all about, the small victories turn into bigger ones!! Keep up the good work!!
