mlm28 got a reaction from VSGAnn2014 in Confession time: Can't stop lying about my surgery!
I decided not to tell and I am happy for my decision as I listened to some comments of my mother - in - law saying that she doesn't understand these people (like me -thank god I didn't tell her) having their stomach cut. She is a size 24 lady and advised to drop some weight but she doesn't bother instead she judges others.

if you still have your gallbladder and you're getting sick when you eat, please get that checked. Hope you feel better soon.

mlm28 got a reaction from NOLAGal in Help how to slow down
Hi Jackie, I am nearly 3 months out and still have this problem..I try to eat 2-3 spoons and take a break and start again. I have huge issues with chewing...not chewing enough and get sick soon after I swallow the food.

Having the surgery was the best decision I've made in years. My surgery was on July 10th and I'm tolerating all textures with no dumping issues. I'm so blessed. The biggest problem for me is that my stomach likes to "sing" sometimes when I'm drinking fluids. Not a problem when I'm alone, but in a client meeting, it presents a problem.

Today is my 3 month surgiversary!!! I am so excited to say I am down 60lbs!!!
My stats:
HW 246
SW 240
CW 186
I went from sz 20/22 2xl to a l/xl and 14/16! It feels amazing I have had so many NSVs, like wearing sz LG scrubs at work, fitting in a roller coaster with my son, and just feeling amazing! I have to figure out how to post pics on here and I will do before and afters. I love my sleeve and loving my life!

Today I met the girl who reccommended her surgeon to me, she's around 9 months out and looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
Thanks to her who revealed her secret (her colleague had done it a few years back but she never told me) and I feel so grateful for her because I didn't have a clue about WLS.
It was the first time we saw each other since surgery and she was so happy for me, we were gigling a little while talking aboyt our McDreamy (our cute and talented surgeon) we really like him. And the sleeve has changed our lives completely, in the better condition. :-)

@@n0ble199 Wow you look great!! Congrats!
Today is my 3 months surgiversary! (Sleeved on 07/07/14) I've lost so far 39 lbs, and today for a tiny NSV -- I went to H&M and bought a cardigan because it's getting colder. I can wear a size M! M!! I almost couldn't believe it. Before I couldn't squeeze in even size XL of this shop and now I'm fit perfectly in a size M (not even tight!).
It's a good day, wish you guys all the best!

mlm28 got a reaction from VSGAnn2014 in I think I'm regretting the sleeve
Thanks Ann! I had a check up one month post op....everything was fine. I think chewing is one of my problems. Baby food consistency is fine like yogurts, mash...I thought about flying back if it doesn't get better. Tonight I had meatballs Soup and was much better. Solids are my enemies for now.

mlm28 reacted to Pugmadkate in AM I CRAZY!
I look at it this way...staying obese has a long list of risks associated with it whereas WLS has a much, much shorter list of risks associated with it. You've got to decide for yourself where you are comfortable with the risks. For me, I'm more comfortable with the surgery than I am with staying obese. Best of luck to you.
