    Dont want to loose anymore

Finediva, you'll get there trust me. I never thought I'd see myself there but alas it did happen.
  2. Thank you AvaFern. My PCP concurred with what you said, and I am going for a quick abdominal sono just to rule it out.
  3. I was sleeved last December and am down 106 lbs, slightly below goal weight. The last few weeks I began to feel my heartbeat through my stomach. My husband says it feels like when the babies kicked during pregnancy. When i lie down flat on my back you can literally see the pumping through my skin! How weird is that? Does anyone else have this? Just wondering if it's normal or a reason to see my surgeon.

    Almost passed out...

I got dizzy and lightheaded several times after surgery. The days I drank a lot I noticed it didn't happen.

    Changes after sleeve

It will come back don't worry. My taste drastically changed after surgery but now, ten minths later and 100 lbs. down as my hunger hormone is kicking back in I'm noticing my taste reverting to it's old habits.

    Anyone Banded After Cancer?

Why would you band? Look into the sleeve, it is auch healthier option and your body has already been through so much.
  10. @@nikki82 Where are the pics? I can't see them.

    Submitted today to BCBS NJ

BCBS NJ here and was approved in 4 days. Was 5' 4" and 229 lbs. No 6-week pre-op diet or supervised visits, no mandates from insurance as far as I know. Was approved Dec. 9th and sleeved Dec. 19th.

    Weight at a stand still

Happens to everyone. I stalled twice, for two or so weeks each time. During my stall times I lose inches so I don't much care. It bothered me the first time but the dr. told me NOT to change my habits, just continue doing what I was doing until then and it will eventually start again. It did and I am so happy I listened to him. Don't worry, keep your chin up.

cheated on my pre op diet

I couldn't do the pre-op diet, I think I was on it for 4 days or so. Liquids for 24 hours before surgery but that's it. No one ever mentioned it and the surgery went fine. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Need help come to far to GIVE UP!

There's not much more exercise to fit in the week if you're doing 4-5 times. My surgeon told me NOT to exercise after the surgery, so we can let the surgery do its job first. He said when I stall, after losing the expected 60-65% of excess weight, then I should begin exercising to lose the rest. I've just hit the 70 lb. mark (70% since I needed to lose 100 lbs.), and tonight at my visit he said I should start exercising a little bit--twice a week for 30 minutes, etc. and only to increase when the weight loss stalls again. I plan to do that so I will lose slower but more consistently and work my way up to 4-5 workouts per week.
  15. Around 45 lbs at that point
