Am having the Vertical Sleeve on 4/23/2014! Is it OK to drink Herbalife Healthy Meal shakes pre op & post op?

I would check with your surgeon and dietitian for confirmation. However, I was told to start practicing, in my Pre- Surgery stage, drinking protein shakes. This was to get me accustomed to making sure I had at least 64 oz of protein per day.
Best book I found that prepared me mentally and provided realistic advice was "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies". It walks you through each stage and I am still referring back to the book post surgery.
Congratulations on your date and I know you will be successful. I was so excited and anxious while waiting for that surgery morning but it was ALL WORTH it!
Work with your dietitian in your doctors office to make sure you stick to their eating plan. You will have (3) phases after surgery that you will have to follow so get familiar with those now
