I still go out I just order less and take the rest home.

I tried adipex p which is phentermine.
I hated it. It's basically speed.

No I was not that hungry with it but you can only use it a short time without effects to your kidneys.

I use a fitbit as well but I follow my doc and nut plan on what i should eat and not paying attention to calories and intake other than Protein
Remember that your fitbit doesn't know your personal situation ok?

Of course you can. What state are you jn?
Appeal it to the insurance commissioner
State that insurance prohibited you appeal rights
Then clearly state why you need the surgery all he medical reasons why.
Do not refer to prior complications they paid for
State where and how you meet today's medical guidelines
Before you appeal request a copy of the medical policy so you can attach it. Make sure you meet every required point in it

You know what I learned? Real friends are supportive. The non supportive ones or negative nellys were always against you and wanted you fat

They're no longer in my life and I have to say I am so much happier for it!!
Sometimes you lose relationships on this journey and I have. Kept the best ones and the ones that matter the rest left and took a lot of drama inducing bs with them

I don't think you were ready nor appropriately prepared for a lifestyle change
This is a way of life not a diet. Not temporary.
I hope the new clinician helps you.
Find a nutritionist who is experienced with bariatric patients and maybe they can provide the eating support you need.
And finally join an eating addiction group. I never considered myself a candidate but guess what. I sure as heck am. I see it and I want to eat it!!

I was sleeved June 24 and here are some things I've been doing to overcome this mental torture see if it helps you. I am in purée stage until Monday. Then soft foods
First I made a commitment to myself that only 1 meal will be cooked In this house. No special diet for me that's different. It makes me depressed.
Everyone is eating high Protein and low carb. Lean meats.
I just purée mine and sit with them. It makes me feel better to know we are all eating the same thing. Mine just looks a little different.
I've scoured Pinterest, skinnytaste and other sites looking for great recipes for the family that I can have puréed.
I am Portuguese Which although Mediterranean has a lot of carb/starch based foods. And I miss them. So I've actively been working on changing the recipes and fiddling so I can have certain things in my new life. Not all have been succesful but give me a break 2.5 weeks!
On the days kids has friends over and they all want pizza. Well I made myself a dish of warmed ricotta with some provolone and Parmesan and added a spoonful of pizza sauce - 2% mozzarella melted on top -- and well not exactly pizza. It killed my desire.
I have found it's easier to try and make everything normal and just purée myself. That's all.

These are all things your surgeon requires to ensure a successful outcome. This is major surgery and lifestyle change. You have a surgeon who wants to ensure success.

There are numerous posts about this. Many people tend to go to Mexico it's around 4-5k

Everywhere else is all over the board

Reading between the lines but if your friends all had some form of WLS and they're running a support group and all had same surgeon as you. It seems like they've taken the perspective that you are blaming their doctor for your negative experience. They're probably thinking you knew there were potential for a challenge to this surgery. There are many who don't have as wonderful experience as others.
It is unfortunate that you are having a rough road but perhaps you need to stop talking to them about the surgeon. It really isn't the surgeons fault this happened unless he did something negligent which you didn't say he did. But they feel you are saying it to them.
Just stop discussing the surgeon and laying blame there. It is what it is and you're getting better. You don't need them to listen to you assign blame. You need them to support you. Which to me is more about getting you the right nutrition, the right sources to help you through this.

I think I did one at 3 weeks and puked it right up. Too dense.
Wait a month. I will tell you cocktail shrimp at mo th 2 became a staple of my Snacks. I would buy a half a pound sunday and it would last me days.
