I was banded april 7 and am so pleased. I have lost 36 pounds so far. I do wish it was more and am disappointed but I guess better than nothing. I am attching a pic of me on surgery day and a pic taken today. [ATTACH]44023[/ATTACH]

Im day 5 post op(banded monday). Last night was the first time I could drink a full 8 oz of the protein shake without feeling absolutely sick. Lol. I also weighed myself this am and am down 5 pounds since Monday. I do dream of eggs n cheese though but I trust there is a reason my dr has me on yogurt, shakes, amd soup for 2 weeks. I have been drinking water all day and walking.

Anybody else not hungry? Lol.

Actually the only rx I was given was for hydrocodone. I stopped taking it tuesday thinking it was the culprit. I think I'll be calling them for an rx. Someone suggested it could be the anesthesia still too? They did have to inject me twice in the iv as I wasnt going under.

I was banded Monday and am feeling fairly good. I have been walking regularly n drinking water. My only issue is that when ever I try to do anything heavier than water I begin to feel nauseous. Any suggestions??

wind pains are a killer !! Left shoulder is really sore !! But not hungry !! XxxSomeone else commented about wind pain something to look forward to. I'm still very excited but more nervous now. Keep asking myself if I'm doing the right thing. I felt the same way until I was knocked out. I have even felt that now for a few days but in the long run I know this is the right choice for my health. This is a tool that we are being given. I am now 4 days post op and am feeling better. both physically and mentally. Hope this helps.

LOL. Not being gross at all. Totally understood!!! I haven't gone either but I am being told it takes time. I have been struggling to eat. Ate maybe half a can of soup. But then I start to get a headache. I am still healing so I am not pushing it. Might just be my body's way of saying enough!I had the depression/remorse yesterday. I almost called the doctor's office to tell them to take it out!!! LOL

Yes! The worst bruise is where the port is. I dont find myself to be that hungry either and have only managed 16oz ofba protein shake all day so far. And have been walking as well. My stomach actually is making some growling sounds so I am going to attempt some soup! Lol. You can message me anytime to chat. Speedy recovery.

Lisa that is exactly what I have been doing! I actually slept with an ice pack on last night. I couldn't find a flavor of sugar free ice pops I liked so I found the sugar free ones made by Luigi. They have been amazing. I was also told to do Gatorade so I am also doing that. I am walking around the house but will take a stroll outside in a lil while when I have someone with me. That chili sounds amazing! And I love sour cream so that sounds even better. Thanks for the tips!!!!

Hello April Banders!! I was banded monday. All seems to be going well. I was kept overnight. I did have some gas pain but I did what everyone has said to do and tha is WALK. has helped soo much. Most of my pain is at the port location. The dr assures me its normal and will go away. Other than that I do feel pretty good. Good luck to all of you!

Hello. Just a quick message that surgery went well. I stayed overnighy as I was told would happen. I got home early afternoon. The gas pain isnt too bad but the port site is a killer! So excited ro start this new chapter n the surgery is over!
