My name is Cameron Heathcock. I am 32 years old, a nurse in public health, wife a an awesome God fearing man that is also my best friend, and the mother to three daugters, MaKenna (6), Dakota (4), and Kelbi (3). I also have three step children from my husband, Andrea (14), Katelynn (13), and Alex (11). I have been diagnosied with PCOS since the age of 18 and struggled with infertility since. I have spent thousands to have my daughters and was currently trying to conceive a son through fertility treatments. I have been on the WLS wagon for 10 years now. First time it was suggested by my fertility doctor to have the Gastic Bypass, I was denied however from my insurance and just dropped it. I then attempted to file for the Lap-Band 4 years ago and when I filed in Janurary my insurance policy dropped all WLS beginning that year. So no approval again! I have just started worrying about the health issues that arise with PCOS and decided to try again. I still haven't gotten pregnant so I discussed this with my husband and started on the 6 month diet again. It ended in 02/2014 and we filed and received my approval letter within 2 weeks.  I have been to the nutrition class/fitness class that my surgeon requires and have an appt with him tomorrow to hopefully get my surgery date! (If I'm not pregnant) We will put off trying to conceive our son until safe to do so, if I'm not pregnant before my surgery date. Thank you for taking time to read my story. Chat me up if you want.
