What did you try to eat? I tried some Soup that I strained and had four spoonfuls and was done it was heavily diluted with Water too.

@@tera1982 thank God I'm not having any issues with my intake but I tell you this sleeve is like a baby.....it wants to be fed and burped (walking). I was awake at 3am feeding on some sugar free Jello which helped calm the growling. I'm just praying and hoping that we are free of all complications. Not to mention I have a drain that won't get removed until next Wednesday and that area is causing me discomfort. I believe after I get the drain removed I will feel like a new woman. Are you taking your pain meds?

@@stepbill room temp works well with my stomach so far. FIJI Water really helps with my stomach because of the soft texture. I'm so excited for all of us and so much fun to share with my sleeve siblings.

I'm in my room. I have pain in my stomach that feels like very bad menstrual cramps. I am allowed pain meds every 3 hours. I am allowed to eat ice chips. @9 the nurse said she will sit me in the chair and I will begin walking tomorrow. I have compression that inflates every so often on me legs So far so good. Thank you all for your kind words. I'm going to get some rest.

Thanks @@tera1982 good luck to you as well. @@heatherg17 I did not have to take that. I was told Clear Liquids all day, make sure it's nothing red, and nothing to eat/drink after midnight.

What time do you have to be at the hospital and what time is your procedure scheduled for? How are you doing on the pre-op?
I have to be at the hospital at 6am surgery scheduled for 10am. My pre-op has been good with no major struggles.

I'm going pick up a container of Miso Soup. A large container too.....

Oh noooo I'm sorry to hear that. I know it must have been disappointing. I hope you start feeling better and the 28th will be here before you know it.

I'm going to be honest I am scared. My thoughts are consumed with "what ifs" and of the surgery day in and day out. I pray that all goes well and I try to think positive but it's been a challenge. My surgery is December 8th.

I have a hubby and a 16yo athletic son. I have prepared two weeks worth of Frozen Crockpot meals that they will begin to eat after the surgery. Each meal should last two days. When the meal runs all they have to do is get the next meal out of the freezer and follow the directions on the outside of the bag and cook it in the crockpot.The meals can be frozen up to 3 months. Just an idea.

Thank you ladies for letting me know I'm not the only one whose thoughts are running rampant. I have been so excited about getting this surgery the closer to my date the more scared and nervous I become. I try to think positive but it's hard.
