Cutepretty1 got a reaction from LipstickLady in No Sex Drive/Desire after Sleeve 9 months Post Op
Lol....yes I'm going to the adult store after my appointment tomorrow since hubby has texted me to get some lubrication. At first I laughed it off but it hurt my feeling as I've never had this issue. I'm getting my Protein in and have been working on my Water intake. Trying to get to a gallon a day. I will most definitely take a look into the O shot. I should have addressed this issue months ago but thought it would get back to normal. Thank you all for your responses. Thank you @@LipstickLady for sharing your experience.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from Lexigurl82 in No Sex Drive/Desire after Sleeve 9 months Post Op
Hi,
I apologize in advance if this is TMI.
I had my sleeve done December 2105. Prior to my sleeve I wanted to have sex anytime, anywhere, etc. Since my surgery I have not had the desire. I am dry and it takes a while to have an orgasm sometimes I do not reach climax. I have seen topics on the board in which other women are having this issue but not seen where anyone indicates there was resolution. This post is meant for women in which their libido has decreased and has not returned. No offense it is not intended for women in which "oh my sex drive is through the roof since surgery". Congrats to you but I am wanting advice on how to proceed. It's been almost 9 months and I am not feeling sex. I have an appointment with my gyno this week but I have a hubby I need to tend too.

You are looking great!!! I've had people tell me I don't need to lose anymore and that I was going to be too skinny. I politely said "I'm doing this for me and no one else". Keep up the good work pr_pitbullgrl.

Cutepretty1 reacted to her1981 in At what point does the obsession stop?
@@Steve Puckett I track daily on mfp (334 day streak! LOL). I posted that early on with a clip of my macros. I weigh, measure, and log EVERYTHING. Since the start of this entire process, I have been a "slow" loser. I don't lose every week. I lose one week per month (dang hormones!). People stall at all weights. The stalls I can handle... the 5lb gain out of the blue is worrisome though.
I just don't like being obsessed with counting constantly.
And just fyi, I don't compare my losses to other people's; especially considering all circumstances are not the same. We had different surgeries...yours included malabsorption. I've lost 148 pounds in one year and I'm proud of that. Congrats on getting to your goal in 1 year...

Good luck to you. Dr. Wegner is one of the greatest. There were a few times I called the after hours number and he immediately called back. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from missvee in Cooking for family pre&post op
I try to find a balance if I bake potatoes for them I will bake me a sweet potatoe. I purchased several aluminum pans for my meat as I do not use the same seasoning on my food. I usually cook steamed veggies in which we can all eat. It has become part of the daily routine and not hard to balance at all. Thankfully my family does not eat a lot of fried foods.

Are you having the sleeve or bypass? I had the sleeve and Dr. Wegner was my surgeon. You are more than welcomed to PM me with questions.

I have tried all flavors and they do not disappoint. It's hard to pinpoint which one I highly flavor. I go to Vitamin Shoppe and purchase a large container of whatever flavor they have available.

I only told my significant other and my sister. Sometimes people can be too judgemental and condescending. It was best for me not to share the journey with people.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from Bluesky1 in stop the food funerals
I was a lower BMI and self pay so I didn't have the insurance requirements to lose a certain amount of weight prior to my procedure. I did a food funeral and for me it was great and I indulged in the foods I knew I would not be able to have. I wanted to taste the flavor "one last time". I was able to complete my two weeks pre-op diet with no issues. I went to my 6 week post-op and down 30 lbs.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from OutsideMatchInside in Driving after surgery
^^ I drove the 3rd day with a drain still in. After 2 hours I was so exhausted felt like I walked a full day at an amusement park so I limited driving to quick errands.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from 24601 in Low BMI'ers, how are you doing?
I am 7 weeks out and down to 168 from 200. My NUT said I should be at goal soon. I have more energy but I still have challenges on what to eat. Overall it's been going good.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from Paluma0268 in Why is it so hard to down water?!
I drink Fiji or Voss Water because of the silky smooth texture. No two waters are alike.

I was out a month and it was worth it. I would get fatigued after two hours if I did anything (running errands). I just wanted to rest and regain my strength.

Cutepretty1 got a reaction from ladee2279 in December Sleevers
My sleeve was December 8th as well. I have lost 29 lbs (including pre-op) and have been stalled for a little over a week. I will start working out tomorrow as I have to break this stall.
