    1) Height / weight starting our wls programs: 5' 7", 234
    2) Weight day of surgery: 224
    3) 10 week post op weight / pounds lost/gained: 194.8, 1.7 pounds lost this week, 39.2 pounds total
    4) Goal weight: 160 surgeon's goal, 140 stretch goal
    5) Your biggest success this week: 10 weeks out from surgery and I avoided another stall! I've noticed that the scale tends to move on Thursday or Friday each week, so I'm curious if this will continue! My weight loss has been sloooow and steady. As long as the weight is coming off, I'm happy! One positive is saggy skin hasn't been an issue - yet. I had some on my thighs a few weeks ago, and it seems to have snapped back. One positive to the slow weight loss is my skin has a chance to adjust! My weight loss has been 90% diet up to this point, as my exercise has been sporadic. I changed it up this week and have been walking/jogging on the treadmill. It takes me 1 hour to do 3 miles. I love exercise, but my busy work/life schedule made it difficult to fit it in. I have most of the summer off, so focusing on creating new habits that I can continue long term. I read on someone's BP post, "skinny people look good in clothes, fit people look good naked." I have an inner athlete in me as I was a competitive ice skater as a child/young adult. I'm amazed how quickly my legs are toning up. I have come to accept that the scale may stop reporting my progress for awhile if I'm building muscle.
    6) Your biggest struggle this week: I've slacked a bit on recording what I consume on my Lose It app. I know long-term, tracking what I eat is vital to maintenance.

Thank you, Kate. It feels so good to be happy. I was hiding from people I went to school because I didn't want them to see how big I had gotten. It's so awesome to finally follow something through and do what I've been saying I was going to do for years. Get healthy!

I just got into size 16!! Woot!! Had one huge three week stall that was horrible but I got through it! I downloaded my fitness pal to help me make my Protein goals! I have between 600 and 800 calories a day! Sometimes I don't make the goal but I get darn close! How is everyone doing? I'm so happy to feel normal again! Went out and had prime rib!! It was yummy!! Of course my son has to eat the majority of it! Hahah

So I've told you all about our weekend trips to Six Flags and how I've had to dig out some old shorts to wear as I keep going down in size....so today, I took the dog out before we left for Six Flags and my shorts literally fell all the way to my ankles as I was trying to take his leash off! I had to stop by the store and buy a pair of shorts as I had none that fit! I usually hated shopping because I would just look for the biggest shirt they had and a size 22 pants or 24 with a belt. But today....I had to step OUT of the plus size women's section and go to the other side! I picked up a 16...too big....picked up a 14. Fit nicely but my daughter said just try on a 12...just to see. And they fit!!!!! I almost cried. I came out of the dressing room to get her opinion and the lady working there said those look great! I was floored. They were just a little snug on me so I got both the 14 and the 12 and wore the 14 and a tank top! I don't think I've worn a tank top in public in like 10 years. Sorry to go on about this but my best friend doesn't seem to want to talk about my weight loss and that's ok. But I did have to share with you guys since you understand. Wooooohooo! Made my day!

I have always considered myself a DIVA...so I was ashamed to shop at stores that ONLY catered to plus size women, I wanted to fit in sooo bad with everyone else ( skinny) women that I spent tons of money shopping on shoes/purses and etc...being overweight really bothered me emotionally with crazee thoughts and feelings!!
I am very PROUD of everyone NSV!! I went from size 16 to a 14 and I can fit back in all my heels, gaining weight caused me to wear a sz 10 shoe and now Im in 9.5 and a few 9's again

My competitive streak is coming out. I am participating in the BP 4th of July challenge and my goal is to get down to 190 by 4th of July. Combine that with this week's goal to start exercising regularly, I am motivated! I walked an hour on the treadmill yesterday morning ( 2.86 miles for 1 hour), lifted some weights and later in the evening, walked another 30 minutes on the treadmill. I guzzled Water all day yesterday to stay hydrated. I woke up this morning 1.7 pounds lighter! Whoot whoot! I'm now at 194.8... But I'll include those pounds in next week's check in!

Happy 9 week sleeviversary everyone! Summer is here and for me, I'm hoping that equals more time to focus on fitness and lifestyle changes I have been too busy to do since surgery due to my work schedule! I've noticed we've had a decline in our weekly checkins the last few weeks. This check in is not to compare stats or judge each other, it's to keep us accountable and stay on target and support each other! If you're struggling, let us be there for you for support! We will all be successful! I just know it!

Rocking a size 14 Old Navy jeans! First time in 10 years they aren't a "woman's" cut. Goodbye Lane Bryant. I won't miss your flowery flocks at all!
Add on: I just walked into the kitchen and my 15 year old daughter told me that my butt looked small. This is coming from a 126 pound skinny girl. I've never been told my butt looked small. Ever!

Looking great, Mschwartz! I love seeing pics like this. It's a big motivator.
I tried on some size 24 jeans on the other day that haven't fit me for a year or more and they fit! They were a bit snug in the waist, but a little loose in the booty (which was surprising) and legs. So I've gone from a size 30 down to a 24. Now just ten more to go down to my goal of size 14!

This first one was taken 2 weeks before my surgery and the other one was taken today! I can finally see a difference!! Just needed to share because I know this crew would understand how I'm feeling!

Butterflypinup, I cant even lie I read your post yesterday and I started to reply but I couldnt figure out what to say to you. I feel for you, we all went thru our own obstacles with this surgery but I have to be honest with you...how is it possible that you vomit everyday? Have you told your Dr, cause this cant be normal. Its been almost 2 months since surgery and nausea and vomit shouldnt even be in the picture anymore. I have you in my prayers and I hope you start to feel better and be able to eat more solids. I hope you are seeing your Dr soon for another follow up. Please keep us posted. I know its hard to see it now but there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you.

Ugh. That stinks.....I hope it gets better quickly. But congratulations on all the huge accomplishments!
I'm sure it must be awful to throw up each day. I wasn't throwing up but felt like I was going to for about a week and I didn't do well mentally on just liquids. I was cooking for my kids because my husband was out of town and one day I just started bawling. I wanted food so bad. I called my best friend crying. She's very supportive but she had no idea what I was going through. I really was just feeling sorry for myself. It was still very early in the process and I just broke down and I really wasn't sick just mourning food, I guess. Sounds so stupid.
So long story longer....I can totally understand how you can be feeling regret and I hope it gets better quickly. Glad we all are able to talk here. I don't think even our closest family and friends cam relate at all. Go enjoy you new life (as soon as you can....

Butterflypinup - I'm sorry you are regretting surgery. What's going on?
I had a hard time with the Vitamins until I got past the first month of liquids only. I didn't throw up every time but I would get hot all over suddenly and start sweating and get super nauseous wishing I would throw up. But once I started foods that stopped. I still have to hold my nose when I take them and I shudder and get the heebie geebies but I don't have the weird hot flash thing. One of the veterans I know said my body was rejecting the sugar in the Vitamins. I don't know...
My surgeon gave me zofran for my nausea and told me to take my vitamins with applesauce and use sugar free cinnamon candies to help with nausea.
Hope this helps. Makes me sad you are regretting.....looks like your weight loss is great.
