My goal this Month of March is to collectively get on the elliptical for 24 hours for the entire month of March! I know I can do it. I'm 23 days post op and have already started yesterday on the first of the month. Got one hour in YAY!!!

Hi! Had my surgery 2/7 and I can attest to the fact that that was the HARDEST thing I've ever done. But for sure the best thing. Getting the food down and stay down was my challenge and I've beat it. I'm eating 3 oz a day, getting my my Protein and Fluid. It WORKS! I've lost 23 lbs and still counting!
I'm cheering us all on!!! We can do this!!!!

They are injections to target areas like tummy thighs and butt that are hard to lose fat In
Ahhhhh... Thank you Shelly!

What are lipotropic injections for?

I am taking Omeprezole, which is prescription Prilosec. I was told I would need to take it for at least 12 months
How are you holding up?
-
Oh wow! I didn’t know that acid caused the hunger pains. I will NEVER, EVER miss that pill again. I never had to take the Prilosec in the past but now as I understand it pertinent to take to help with the recovery of our brand new spankin’ pouch. How do you feel?

I use Jay's unflavored egg white Protein powder with fat free lactaid milk, cocoa powder unsweetened and 2 sweet n low.
Where do you get jay’s? That genius how you add the cocoa powder - any brand in particular? I’m thinking I can pull this off with some stevia.

I like Beverly International UMP Cookies and Cream..it is a little more indulgent than other Protein powders out there BUT thats why their brand is sooo good!!! I only have a shake here and there or mix the bland Proteins with it. It has 130 calories 3 grams of carbs 1 gram of sugar and 21 grams of Protein. Like i said I only drink them when Im having trouble getting the nasty Proteins down
Where do you get - Beverly International UMP Cookies and Cream - And is it indulgent because of the price tag? It sounds yummy!

Dr. Keith Kim in Kissimmee had a 600 dollar fee for the same services you initially posted. I am submitting a breakdown ledger to my insurance of the fee and my payments. I had them split in two visits totally $600. I have Cigna International and I've heard they reimburse.
Good luck with your procedure!!

I like to experiment so I buy a lot of sampler packs. Tried Now cake batter flavor, I wasn'ta fan. I like Pure Protein powder in frosty chocolate. I found I don't like the Body Fortress brand but it is cheap so you should see if you like it. I get it a Walmart. I like GNC total lean but not the calories or price so I may not buy it again but I liked every flavor I tried. Favorite is french vanilla. powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury is good too but spendy as we all know. Isopure makes rtd drinks that are horrid so I drink preimere Protein from costco. When I'm out and about and need something I will buy Muscle Milk or Oh Yeah ready to drink as well.
Right now I am on a green smoothie kick. My blender has one scoop chocolate Pure Protein, 4 kales leaves and or whatever greens I pulled from the garden with Water, ice and a pump of suger free Torani.< /p>
The Isopure Ready to Drink is HORRID
That’s what I spit and then threw up all over my kitchen floor. UGH!!!
I want to try Unjury and I want to shop around of the best price though. I have used Dutch Chocolate in the Isopure and it is yummy but getting old - REAL quick! I love Kale!!!! My favorite beverage in the blender that involved kale was before the surgery..... I would juice 6 oz of fresh apples --- toss in blender, fresh cut pineapples (they were frozen), Kale and Spinach.... Whole Foods here calls it Green Dream and it is Dreammmmyyyy

I used nectar vanilla bean torte as well as Chike coffee. But, I stopped Protein shakes at the two month mark per my nutritionist and surgeon's recommendation/plan. They don't believe in continued Protein shake usage and prefer patients get their Protein in solid food wise, however, they always said a Protein Shake is better than no protein at all and said they would be fine if I was having an issue or on the go and not able to find solid protein.
I have saved all of my Protein powder for my husband who is having surgery in 2 weeks.
That’s AWESOME that your husband is taking the plunge! Best luck to him and prayers for you both tonight

My Protein drink is called Pure Protein shake it comes in like a soda can they come in different flavors I've gotten strawberry and Cookies and cream both taste great the strawberry has 1 gram of carbs and like 1 to no grams of sugar. There all 35 grams of protein and I have to take in 60 to 80 grams a day and I do it. There 31.00 a case comes in a 12 pack.. I think there the bomb..
That sounds real economical and I love that there is NO SUGAR and so LOW CARBS. I’m slaying my diet with the milk situation and just tonight picked up some Almond Milk. Wish me luck! I’ll have to try Pure Protein Shake next!

You would think after losing 127 lbs and having my sleeve for 14 months I would get used to the side by side but I still don't recognize myself.
I keep going back to this pic. You truly are an inspiration. ((((applause))))

Yay! Thanks for that. I have been googling it since this evening and I love me some peanut butter! That with chocolate and vanilla shakes sounds so good! Yummy

Vitamin Shoppe has pure Protein Shakes that 35 grams of Protein 1 gram of cabs and 1gram of sugar very good and they have a variety of flavors
Do you mean the store brand protein shakes? Wow. Didn't realize they had that. How's the taste Lost33?

Yeah CarbMaster is a Kroger product so either Kroger or possibly one of their sister stores that sells Kroger products, depending on where you are. And the only place I know to buy Unjury is http://www.unjury.com and I think Amazon.< /p>
Starting a notepad to jot don't all these links and ideas. Thanks again Bufflehead!

I use MaxxPro Orange and mix it with almond milk. Per scoop: 30 grams of Protein, 140 calories and 1 gram of sugar. Tastes like an orange creamsicle.
Wow CaGottaBand your weight loss progress is impressive. I pray to be as successful as you!
I used to love those Orange Creamsicles when I was a kid... Where do you get the MaxxPro Orange.... at like Vitamin Shoppe or BodyBuilding.com and what’s your take on almond milk. Is it too sweet for you. I’m such a whiny-baby when it comes to my milk. I love the Farmland Skim Plus but OMGosh I could seriously do without all those darn carbs. What’s you take? And are you working out? I haven’t started at all nor was I working out before the surgery. I just doing some 10 min walks here and there. I know it’s soon, two weeks postop.
I buy the MaxxPro at a local shop, but it can be bought online at maxxmuscle.com.
I personally like the almond milk...not to drink straight, but for my smoothies it's good.
And yes, I work out. I jog a few miles 3 times a week and 3 day a week I do a circuit training DVD...the DVD kicks my @ss. LOL
I’m checking out maxxmuscle.com as we speak... Thanks on your honest feedback about almond milk. I’ll be going to Publix and picking up a small carton to take it for a spin. Oh running!!!! I used to run back in my 30’s... I’ve got a lot of miles on me and would love to get back. Did you just get into to it? I’m afraid my guts will burst at the incision lines if I ran now. Best that I wait to get clearance on that. Ha!

Torani and PB2 can be found at Walmart. PB2 comes in regular Peanut Butter and one with chocolate added (add Torani hazelnut and make it like Nutrella) I found a better price at World Market...but I understand you can order most of these things online (try Amazon or shop.com)
Carbmasters is at Krogers here...so I don't know about where you are...
powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury makes a cheese sauce that is suppose to be AWESOME, I haven't ordered it yet.
My husband puts the caramel and vanilla syrups in to his Water for a cream soda type taste... he loves that...
have fun! there are a LOT of options!
If I can like your posts 100 times I would! Thanks so much for the ideas and the intel!! Momma shopping for new Protein this weekend!!

I use unjury chocolate Splendor as well, mixed with skim milk. Sometimes I add some Torani sugar-free caramel Syrup and/or some PB2. I also use Celebrate Vanilla Cake batter with milk and sometimes some raspberry or orange syrup. I like the Unjury strawberry Sorbet with Crystal Light lemonade or the Syntrax nectar Roadside Lemonade.
OMGosh that sounds good... A fatty at heart, I was salivating reading your post! LOL... Where do you get your supplies? i.e. Unjury, PB2 (and what is that) and Syntrax..... ohoh and the Torani sugar free caramel syrup sounds to die for!
