Hello! I am having my RNY Wednesday. I was told by my surgeon that the RNY could totally get rid of your diabetes (Type 2). You will also lose more weight with it. I figure there's always going to be a risk with any surgery but your risk with diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol is soooo much higher than your risk with surgery!
