About Me

  • Gender
    Male
I started out at 260 lbs. on Dec 17 2013. This is the heaviest I have ever been and I was using a Nebulizer machine, Nexium for Acid Reflux and a CPAP machine to sleep at night , I have tried WW about 3 times and have lost my weight and then I end up gaining it back and more. My neck had been injured in the military and it was to painful to run anymore, so my exercise routine went to almost nothing and I only had time between jobs for fast food and that was not good. I needed something to help me as a tool to control myself from eating to much. My wife had the lap band and lost over 100 lbs. and has kept it off for over 7 years. I saw what she went through with the lap band and I did not want to be limited on what I could eat or bring up what did not go down well. The love of my life has been very supportive through all of this and has been giving me pointers and reminding me to get my protein, vitamins and water down. I think it is very important to have someone who supports and encourages you.

I have just had my 4 month check up and weighed in at 184 lbs. I have gone from a 42 waist and am now in a 34. I am walking better and am off my Nexium, CPAP and Nubulizer. I feel great and am almost to goal and I would do this again in a heartbeat if I had to do it over.
