good luck and congrats!Columbus ohio here, going through bariatric program at Riverside Methodist hospital, my surgery us scheduled for Tuesday, August 19th with Dr. Sonnanstine!!! Super excited!!!

ouch! Thanks for putting that image in my head!!! :-)Hass- did you remove it yourself?? I hope not. Those catheters have a balloon on the end that is in your bladder. It is inflated with saline after placement to keep it from falling out. You could have done some physical damage to your "parts" if that wasn't deflated before removal. Imagine pulling a grape through a coffee straw....

first congrats on your loss! Check out natural notts. They are also on fb..good tips on care of natural hair. That and biotin have saved me from thinning and shedding. Good luckSo I am 3 months out and doing ok. My weight loss has been pretty good. My highest weight was 307 lbs and my surgery weight was 297 lbs I am now 233 lbs and very happy with my progress thus far. Does any one have any suggestions on how I can thicken my hair. I had my hair twisted up for the past couple months and just recently took them out and I have noticed some thinning in the front of my hair. My nutritionist said that it will get better after a year but I cannot wait a year for my hair to thicken up. I have started Biotin just wondering if there is anything else I can do. I have naturally curly hair.

exactly! This group is about supporting each other, everyone is different and we should embrace that. What works for one may not work for another. Congrats on everyone's weight loss, be it 100lbs or 10!! Keep it positive, and remember we all lose at our own pace, some have more to lose than others but we are all in this together. Most people don't have time to make their own sauces. I often do crock pot chicken Cooked with salsa, I shred it up and eat it on salads all week. I feel it's important to eat a balanced diet. Sugar and carbs included (complex) in moderation of course. Congrats on you for your loss. Different strokes for different folks. because I still consume a smidge of sugar doesn't mean I am not worthy of the surgery or that my surgery is a "waste". I eat anything I want in moderation. This isn't a diet and I refuse to obsess over and be consumed by what I am eating. I just am overwhelmed by your audacity to criticize someone using taco seasoning. I literally LOL'd. Cheers!
