Gastric Band Revision To Sleeve

I’m pre-op for VSG and I currently have the gastric band. My band is out of place and will be coming out in August. I have horrible GERD / reflux and have been taking Pepcid, Tums, and even my husbands Peppermint Oil Pills (OTC for gas). This is one of the reasons I’m having it converted to VSG in October. Hi all! I’m in the pre-op stages for gastric sleeve - I’m wondering how long your surgeons said your recovery would be? My MD said 2-3 weeks, but I feel like that’s a lot of time... I also realize it’s all dependent on the type of job, etc. So how long were you told for your recovery / out-of-work restrictions?
