I had my six month check-up today and I've lost 85lbs which equals 60% of my weight which puts me ahead of the curve. YEAH! I understand that the six month average is around 50%. I was worried because my weight loss has slowed down in the last six weeks but I'm right on course. I must remember that this is my journey, and I can't compare with others. I see all of these high numbers of weight loss and think I'm not doing well but this just isn't true. WOW, the games our heads can play with us. I feel so much better now especially since I only have 24 more pounds to my goal weight. I'm so happy that I made this decision, and changed my life, and health for the better. HW: 264, SW: 147 CW: 179. Goal 155 BMI < 25.

I've been seeing my therapist for about a year, before and after surgery, and it's been a great help through my weight loss journey. I owe a lot of my success to Regina for helping me through all the reasons I have been addicted to food. I really hope you find a good therapist to help you also get to the root of your addiction so you can be successful in your journey. Bless you Mary you've done a great job. Put on your little girl panties Lol and finish this journey. You can do this

I'm so happy I made this decision, and I'm loving my new life even though dealing with emotions and why I was obese has been hard I would not change a thing. I'm so excited about my future active life that I'm beside myself, which is easy to do since I've lost over sixty pounds. :-) I'm so happy for all of you on your journey and wishing each of you the best. O my gosh. Just wanted to share this. I was sitting at work and look down an saw I had cross my legs. I was amazed and looked at my coworker and said "look my legs are crossed." She had a blank look on her face and I told her this was a first for me in a long time. We had a NSV high five. Yeah for me.

Well dec. sleevers it's been two months and three days since my VGS. I'm down 52.4 from my highest weight. I'm overjoyed with my weight loss and higher energy level. Weighed in at 199.8 today, glad to see the 2 is gone. Goal 2 of my journey has been obtained. Next goal 185, pre-pregnancy weight. After that goal is met my final goal is 155....one step at a time.
