jess9395 got a reaction from Newtransformation79 in Best yogurt to eat post OP?
The Greek has sooooooo much more protein! Try the Fage, Oikos, Yoplait, Siggis, Brown Cow, Chobani, Trader Joe's.... Any of the Greek ones if you can!

Homemade chicken no-noodle Soup. I make it with lots of sautéed onions and mushrooms. Then I add in Pasta noodles in my husband and son’s bowls and pour the soup on top and leave them out of mine.

Container dannon light and fit Greek yogurt with 1 tsp slivered almonds, 1 tsp unsweetened coconut and 1/2 tsp cocoa nibs. Sometimes I get full 2/3 of the way through. This morning I ate the whole thing.

The amount I eat changes from day to do is my problem. Some days I can’t finish a 5oz yogurt. Other days I can eat a whole chicken breast. Why? Who knows. Could be related to my activity level... maybe when I run more? I should try and notice a pattern but I’m not much motivated too when I have a fifteen year old to eat my leftovers -

Protein Mug Cake. One scoop Protein Powder (works best with one that has egg protein or caesin as part of it not just whey isolate), 1tsp milk and 1/4 tsp baking powder in the microwave for 1 min. Ate it in about 20 mins.

I still have trouble gauging how much to serve myself even at five years out. Especially when I am eating things I don’t often eat (in this case quinoa and corn). They filled me up more quickly.
This is ancient grains and sautéed onions (about half and half) with leftover tri tip that I braised in red wine and wosterchire on top and then topped with a little bit of corn and green onions and cilantro. My fifteen year old ate what I didn’t. I added some power greens slaw on the side optimistically but didn’t eat any so cropped them out of the pic.
I will eat the slaw tomorrow for lunch.

Thank you! Well... just doing what I know works. For me that’s avoiding simple/refined carbs, learning the difference between eating because I’m hungry and eating because I’m angry/hurt/frustrated, and staying active. I run 20+ miles a week and do a lot of yoga. I’m lucky in that my restriction is still great and I never really got the hungries back like I did before once I got my acid under control post op. -

We went out to Breakfast for my mother in law’s birthday this am. I did what I often do at restaurants and just got an extra plate and people shared with me. Half a scrambled egg... quarter of a slice whole wheat toast, a bite of hash browns and smoked tri tip (the piece was maybe 2-3oz... this place has incredible smoked tri tip). You can see I are maybe a third of the carb servings and 2/3 of the Protein.< br />
This time my 15 year old didn’t finish it though because he had a HUGE breakfast burrito that he couldn’t even finish.
