I always forget mine as well. I am trying to get better. My main issue is energy to get through my work outs. I get my labs checked in three weeks so I will get it together before then dont want any problems. They already thing I may be anemic becasue of my energy and I am always cold like always. I am very happy with my progress thus far and wish everyone luck.
Iam also anemic . I'm cold all the time to lol I've made beautiful progress with the weight lost I had my surgery 3/12/14 and I've lost 111 pounds . Very pleased with that just wish all my other issues would disappear and I wish i could eat solid food .

So my energy levels have been good but I've been having almost like cramps in my shoulders. They're always tense and I have some numbness and tingling. Anyone having this issue? I've been going to the chiropractor to see if that helps some.
I got my 6 month blood work back today, and it wasn't great. Let's just say I haven't done a great job remembering to take my Vitamins. So I went and bought some new ones, and got a bottle to keep in my desk and some to keep in my purse and I'm going to do better. Hopefully that will also help with the shoulder issues.
I've also been trying to up my Fluid intake the past few days because I've been hungry all the time and it's seemed to help a lot.
I can so relate with the tingling and Vitamin situation. I wasn't the best at taking my vitamins and gradually day by day my legs and feet and toes were very tingly and even got crazy numb like a going to sleep feeling and it has stayed liked that going on 3 months. Little did I know I developed a vitamin deficiency to b1. So now I set alarms to remind to take my vitamins lol bc let me tell ya I wouldn't wish this feeling on my worst enemy. You never realize how much something means until you don't have it and let me tell ya it's hard to cope with the fact that I'm only 28 and at one point was having to walk with a walker for support. So needless to say I will try my best to NEVER forget my vitamins again lol .

Had my surgery March 4th and have lost 62lbs so far. I've had alot of emotional bumps in my road since surgery and with that I'm happy with my progress. But as I come up on my 6 month post op I'm feeling tired again,my hair has been falling out and my nails are so brittle. And I'm not liking food much some days. Is anyone else feeling this way? I'm happy about fitting into smaller clothes but not so much how I'm feeling on the inside.
I can so relate , I had my rny on March 12th and I've had complication after complication ive lost 110 pounds and i wish i could say its from excercise and eating right but its not ,I can't eat food i live off Protein drinks. My hair is falling out horribly and I take 20,000 mg of Biotin a day. I should be at the prime of my life losing 110 pounds i should be happy but I'm not I'm drowning inside i just want to feel normal again . I wanna be able to eat FOOD not bad Food but be able to eat without puking EVERYTHING UP! Sorry to be the negative nancy but nobody around me understands.

Down almost 80lbs! I didn't buy this ridiculous jump suit but I laughed my ass off with my skinny friends while we tried on clothes in the same store! We are having actives all week long at work so I've been seeing a lot of people I haven't seen in a while. I had 3 people tell me that they didn't recognize me yesterday. One of them was my coworker who I work out with every morning when I walked up to her from a distance. It's so weird.
You look awesome!

Ok guys I have a question. I had my surgery 3/12/14 and since then I've lost 80 pounds. Well for the past month or more my stomach and legs constantly feel sore to touch and they have a tingling sensation almost as if on the verge of going to sleep. It's weird feeling! I'm wondering if maybe it's bc of my extra skin pulling down to make it sore ?? I don't know anyone else have this feeling?? I go to my doctor this Thursday to see what he has to say.

That's just horrible! I would hate to go through this twice. My rny experience has been amazing until puréed foods.
What state do you live in?

Thank you so much for responding!! @@shannon26
I am so sorry you have to do this twice!! Did you feel any different after the first dilation?
Can't really say I did bc I still haven't been able to eat :/

Hi all, tomorrow morning I will have a scope to dilate where the stomach and the intestines are now connected. I have not been able to br ogress to regular foods because most everything puréed I up chuck. The barium swallow revealed it is to tight at this connection. I am a little worried my food will go right through after dilation. Therefore, I will be hungry cause it goes through smoothly. Anyone heard of this? Any thoughts? Please pray IV goes in on 1st stick. This place has the hardest time with me and I have not been able to get the recommended liquid intake. Thanks Everyone!!
I've already had a dilation done and I'm about to have to get another bc I still can't eat solid food . My surgery was 3/12/14 . I still throw up everything I eat now it's to the point the smell of food makes me sick I live off yogurt and Breakfast essentials. I've had a not so good experience with surgery but great weightloss but don't worry it won't be much different.

I have a lot of the same issues, stricture, nausea and vomiting, etc...My surgery was 12-21 and I just feel like I am eating semi normal. What does work well for me with good Protein amounts is the Quest bars from GNC . I like the vanilla almond and the coconut...not to sweet and go down easily. I lived on smoothies for a long time that I made with Greek yogurt, diet cran grape, frozen strawberries and ice. Sometimes I added a bit of protein powder if I though my stomach could handle it. I buy the plain light Cabot Greek . 20 grams a cup. I make the smoothies at night and freeze them so I can ear them like a sorbet. They were my lifesaver for many months,
You are not alone in your challenges, hang in there...it will get better
Thanks for the words of encouragement! I'm definitely gonna try those smoothies and the bars I have to try something.

I am so sorry your experience hasn't been the best! I have had 2 strictures as well and possibly a 3rd but I am fighting that. My weightloss is much slower 39 and holding!!!!!! but I know it will come off and I am not worried-I am on track just not exercising like I should be. I am working on that-setting a goal to run a 5 k and that takes practice and training!!!! Hang in there, some of us are on a smooth track and some have the rough one-we are on the rough one but we will get on the smooth one soon! This is worth it!
Thanks for the encouraging words! It is worth it ! Just sucks being so sick.

Does your Dr know when you will be able to eat solids again?
Not sure I go back next week so we can talk about what's going on.

Hey all ! I've been gone a while , hate to be the Debbie downer but I haven't had the best of experience. I'm very pleased with my weight loss I had rny on 3/12/14 and since then I've lost 70 pounds. But it's bc I can't eat anything ! I've already had a stricture and had to have my gallbladder removed since surgery and still to this day I can't eat or drink much at all and no solid food still! I'm so discouraged I just wanna feel Simi normal again . I still puke multiple times a day, and it's a constant battle with nausea. But I try to stay positive and look at the bright side down 70 pounds & I'm happy with that.

WOW, I had my surgery on the 18th of March and I'm doing great. What about stepping back to a full liquid for a bit, maybe your tummy isn't ready for solids yet? Can you tolerate yogurt, cream of Soups, cream of wheat or sf Jello? I know all that's boring but if your stomach isn't ready, it's not ready. I'd check in with your surgeons to make sure there aren't any problems but I've heard that some people just have to go slower. Good luck
I think I just might have to! I can do the soups and yogurt and jello. But all solids make me sick!

I had my surgery March 12th and I'm having the same issues . Everything I eat it either comes up or I'm so nauseaed that I'm miserable. My doc thinks it may be my gallbladder. I find out Monday.

I have had a real hard day today I have been dry heaving all day! Hope tomorrow will be better 7 weeks post-op.
It will get better hang in there!
-
I went thru stall in week 3.. Now back on pace I hope.. Can not tolerate eggs..so that's a bummer!
The first time I tried eggs I couldn't tolerate them but tried a few weeks later and could. I'm just scared to try again lol

I need a soda...diet soda!!! Are we ever going to be able to drink some? Does anyone know?
I'm gonna stay accountable , I've had a few sips of diet Pepsi and I promise I won't do it again. I burped so much that I was puking and felt funny after so I won't have anymore. I don't think we are suppose to have it because the carbonation can stretch our pouch. But I did, lol I'm staying accountable so don't judge me haha

Is anyone else taking meds BC you still have a gallbladder? I started mine Friday and I think its the reason behind me being so sick.
