Hi, Dori and everyone! I'm doing ok. Still having ear pain from nerve spasms...very painful. My weight us holding at 155. I've been eating a lot because I don't want to lose anymore. Trying to be smart about it. Sorry you're still having keg pain, Dori. That sucks. I hope they get a handle in it soon. What class are you taking? Sounds exciting. How us everyone else doing?

Only you and you partner can know what's in your hearts.I'm afraid, my friend, there is no crystal ball as to the emotional / financial/ spiritual outcomes. Look into your heart.

I know that people who aren't in pain really can't conceive of what it's like. Hang in there. Your weight loss is really fantastic. Praying that another surgery will put everything right for you.

I know what you mean about chronic pain. It becomes a type of hazy background that colors everything you think, say, feel, or do. If it helps, I understand. I had my heart surgery in 2000, and it sometimes seems like I don't remember not being in pain. I just try to remember that my pain may be unavoidable, but suffering us optional, if that makes sense. I also think your loss has been amazing, especially since you haven't been able to exercise. I'm sure that last bit of weight will come off once you can get around. I hope they can fix you up soon. Maybe they can give you a neurostimulator if need be after your next surgery. Hopefully, you won't need anything!

I think of you so often. I hope a second surgery puts everything in order for you. I just got out of the hospital ; I had a major reaction to all the medication I was on for my ear pain. No fun. Eating well in the hospital wasn't easy. I either ate string cheese and veggies or total crap, so I need to get back on track now. I really lost my taste for protein, and I still need it to meet my daily goal. Time to get strict. My wish for all of us is that our second year is stress free and healthy.
