This is the part we all seem to dread.... tell me about yourself....

Well I'm 46 years old, married for only 7 months but we've been together for over 11 years. I am a Paralegal/Office Manager by trade, which is a very busy, fast paced and stressful job. I love to write, can be a chatter bug at times, love photography (not any kind of professional way), Friendly, great listener, always try to be a good friend. Youngest of 7, I basically destroyed the "Brady Bunch" (3 Boys and 3 Girls, then me.... LOL). I love to laugh and I'm always trying to make others laugh, I have a sarcastic side, a very inquisitive and investigative personality.

Not only do I have 6 brothers and sisters, I also have 20 something nieces and nephews and 15 or so great nieces and nephews. Which is great for always having someone to talk to and of course always someone to argue with. Just getting the family together is an instant party.

When I first set out on this journey my decision was based on medical necessity and it still is, but as I go through the Pre-Op phase of this, I am understanding that so many people have this surgery done for so many reason, some medical like myself, some for personal reasons, and even some just to loose the weight they have struggled with for so many years. But as I see posts and topics here on this site and several other sites and even personal videos of their progress on YouTube. I realize no matter what your reason or my reason, this surgery can in so many cases save your life and I know in some rare cases with complications can even cost a life or two, but when your faced with the decision you must weigh the pros and cons for yourself,

I myself, had to do just that..... and the Pros for me won hands down. My health demands this surgery but I think once I have the surgery, I believe it won't just be for the good of my health, it will be for the good of my heart and soul.
