    Pre-Surgery Wl Question

Hi. First post. By the way of introduction - I made my decision to have WLS in August - I have a 6 mo MANDATORY purgatory (irish catholic speak) before I can even see my surgeon - but as a research element I went to a surgery seminar for WL last week and discovered I am best suited for RNY (after saying absolutely NOT) I am warming up to it -- So - essentially I am going to see my surgeon for the first time later in January - Do I go batshitcrazy and work out like a maniac (to whatever degree that means at 200lbs over weight) pre-surgery - or do I just take one day at a time. Just wondering what y’all think. tia.

    Pre-Surgery Wl Question

I am living my 6 mo of supervised diet right now - I lost 12ish so far. I could go into turbo ME and spend all my life working out and I will loose - but I’m just wondering how that effects/affects (i never get that word right) post rny I have to do: endoscope sleep study pulmanologist (2 visits - possibly 3) -- for that alone I need to get my bottom on a treadmill endochronoligist for a full blood panel psych nutritionist exercise specialist I might be missing something here ... but I think that’s the list. I am being watched like a hawk - and honestly - nothing makes me wanna do the things that got me here - no desire for crap - and i’ve been doing the Protein first and measuring my foods I am having a hell of a time getting myself motivated to go to the gym - it’s my last hurdle so to speak - I just wonder (outloud) if I should be kicking this into high gear - a big part of me knows that it will mean an easier recovery - just wondering if anyone here has any experience with this. Thank you for your feedback and congrats on the 69lbs - that rocks my friend.
