I just had a TORe procedure done last Wednesday. My pouch was never quite small enough and of course, I struggled with being hungry. So 2 years out, and I had it done endoscopically. No pain. And things are definitely tighter!

I have a Tespo machine that uses powdered bariatric Vitamins and makes it into a small "shot" to drink. Maybe that would help you. You actually dont need the machine. And can mix your own.

I was just floored to say the least when I read your post. I am a Registered Nurse and can not even begin to phathom a hospital like that. I don't know where you live, but you might want to call the State Board of Nursing where you live and file a complaint. You would have been treated better by a Veterinarian!

Congratulations! I never had to wear paper pants, lol. Sounds like you are doing pretty well. They had me in icu for 24 hours, what about you, are you already on ward or in icu? Remember to mention everything about how you feel to your surgeon. My surgeon and physician visited daily. We all have different experiences.

Warning 🌏 I am a widow, will be,marking,my widow- versity of 6 years on July 4th. I have been told widows like our sisters the divorced are reputed to be " it to trot" well I have had 2 knee replacements because my weight wore them out,not sure I could canter let alone gallop but,i think there are go many trail-walks left in me . And as I lose weight I will only grow friskier And ornier . Shall I aspire to give a few good men an ❤attack or stroke? Not to necessarily brag but I did give as good as I got -Mattress-Mambo-wise. Not ready to tally hang up my spurs, will my pretty cowgirl boots with the pink camp insets fit under your bed? Even better, do you by chance have a mattress in the back of yonder pick-up? A little about me, I have been fighting the GERD war for awhile, went from PPI to next. About 6 months ago, give or take, my symptoms amped up. Now my gall bladder has been gone for 34 34 years but that was the general area I was having pain. I am a dabbler on the edges of medicine and I also have a fervent imagination So what do you I rationalize about right subcostal pain ? Errant gall bladder tissue they didn't remove, maybe I have gallstones blocking pancreatic ducts, a Ghrelinoma, mind you I don't even know if there is such a thing?. gastric carcinoma, or as my late MIL threatened , my fat strangling my intestines? At that moment I was peeved at my PCP, the great steroid prescribed,he thinks medrol will cure the world of all its ills, I just think it makes me FATTER. So I hiked myself off to the gastroenterologist, why go to,the hmmm level? Lets fire the big guns. After changing PpL once again, now I'm on Dexilant, the Ferrari of Ppl and I go through an EGD which shows I have active gastritis and gives me a little birth announcement, I am the unwilling stepmother to Hector my teeny tiny stiil-sleeping gastric ulcer. The good news, Hector is not caused by H pylori, he is from excessive amount of ibuprofen, which had chewed through the protective mucous lining and into business area, the stomach wall. Nd we,must,keep Vector peacefully slumbering so b he does not perforate and dausevall kinds of trouble. Hence the,pain
Goodbye coffee, spices peppermint, skipping meals and of course NSAIDS. There is my story and hi hope it helps a little.

My belly is very bruised as well. 1st night post op while in the hospital, one of the incisions leaked a large amount of bloody drainage ( think bed change😬). Definitely a hematoma in that spot. So now I believe that’s all healing- resulting in this beautiful multicolored abdomen. And it itches like crazy!!!! RNY was June 11.

In no particular order of importance: I have a free-flying aviary with 20 uncaged parakeets. I keep their area clean and full of stimulating amusements. I enjoy their unconditional companionship. My newest additions are five weeks old, raised from blind and naked to happy and healthy. At four weeks, a parakeet is fully-feathered and ready to fly... and mine did.
I'm married and have four adult children. My daughter is a doctor of pharmacy, and two of my sons are medical doctors (not bariatric surgeons, though!). My youngest son -- the "smart one"-- is pursuing a non-medical career. I have a medical background, too, but my actual occupation is one I can't mention because then it would be easy to figure out my identity. It's strange... but when I wrote in my topic headline about having no friends, I meant face-to-face friends. I have fans all over the world, but they know me ONLY based on my public persona. Because of past scary-creepy stalking behavior, it's no longer safe or a good idea for me to open myself up to my fans directly. It really is possible to be known by thousands of people, and still be horribly lonely.

I hope that all of you who have had your surgeries already are healing up nicely and wishing everyone with pending dates a speedy recovery!

Oh, I hope you don't experience dumping. Tomato Soup does it to some of us. That seems like a terrible choice for them to serve you. Hopefully you're fever is down, BP back up and you're on your way home soon.

I did get one shot of lovenox. I then proceeded (this may be tmi) to have quite the rectal bleed. I feel Ike it had something to do with the hefty dose of Cymbalta I take. 90 mg. I refused the second lovenox. I’m a nurse and I was already bleeding all over the place!
