  1. I have to say right before my surgery I was feeling like I was making the biggest mistake as I am 26, actually 27 today, and still have my whole life ahead of me. I'm now 2 weeks out and I haven't been hungry, haven't been miserable, I can still drink liquids without an issue, and I realize that in a few short weeks I can eat anything I want , just in less amounts. What's better than that?

  2. I was sleeved same day as you. While I have not tried anything like ice cream' date=' if I did it would be something like SF vanilla. Full sugar/fat ice cream with nuts in it is begging for trouble. But if you can from here on out, pick another option. I know you didn't go to this extent to keep on the same path and not lose the weight. I am sure there will come a time when you, I , everyone will test their sleeve in one way or another. But not this soon. Please be careful and let yourself heal. Revisit your NUT or doctors post op lists of foods to eat. While most would still be on full liquids, my doctor did tell me I could start on purees. Honestly, I haven't yet. I am not ready. I can handle cream Soup (no chunks) and yogurt. Even had some cream of wheat. Just take it slow and steady...And good luck!!![/quote']

It's interesting because I was feeling so good thus far I almost felt invincible where nothing would bother me...this was a nice reality check. By the way, cream of wheat is a great idea I'm going to try that for dinner.

  3. Last night I had a cup of Snickers ice cream around 9pm. I woke up at 12am and started spitting up the most fowl tasting battery acid, I have never experienced this in my life. I was actually on the verge of calling 911 I thought my insides were going to come up. Has anyone experienced this?
