I just add ground turkey, one egg, chopped onions, grated cheddar and a half a sleeve of crushed crackers. I was out of tomato sauce so so I used a bit of ketchup on top. They are about 75 calories each. 13g protein

Forgot to tell y'all, I made mini turkey meatloaves in the muffin pan. Delicious. About 2 ounces each and I just pop in the microwave for about 30 seconds and am in meatloaf heaven...

Eat a salad at home first and see how you do. It may make you sick or cause a little discomfort and nausea Bc of the way your body digests it.

To get out of my stall I cut all carbs and upped my calories to 800-900 a day.

Actually skim milk has 11-12 carbs. An egg doesn't. Most nuts have patients on carb restricted diets. I am not to do milk but can do eggs.

I really wavered on whether or not I regretted this surgery the first month. I ripped internal scar tissue and was in an immense amount of pain for a long time. My surgery was 2/18/14 and liquid pain meds make me hurt and/or vomit if I don't eat with them. Even if it's just a pudding. They are too harsh on new tummies. Keep in mind, we feel a range of depressive emotions Bc we are releasing copious amount of estrogen right now, which is stored in fat. As we lose weight it releases. It's tough. But I can honestly say I'd go through it all again the same way, except I'd have taken better care of myself and not ripped my internal scar tissue. Lol Hang in there. It really does get better. The only time I did that I had taken liquid codeine on an empty stomach. I thought I was gonna have to go the the ER. but I ate some pudding right away and was fine afterward.

I need to. I need to get rid of them, but my old brain keeps thinking "what if you need them again?" I think it'll be my goal tomorrow to get rid of anything too big for me. Bc it will be too big for me forever.

This surgery releases tons of estrogen, which is stored in fat. As you're losing you're going to be very emotional. Very, very normal to get emotional over the changes in your appearance. Hang in there April

Not trying to sound harsh with the last post but my pain levels weren't a 3 or 4. More like a 7 or 8. I'd had 4 previous surgeries and given birth and none compared to the pain I felt with this surgery.

Umm... You just got home and are in pain. You just had 85% of a major organ removed. I was in serious pain for a long time. Totally normal.

I liked premier before surgery. After surgery they tasted so gross to me. It's hard to explain.

Milk of mag will. All. Day. Long.

I couldn't do bariatric advantage. The texture, the taste. Ugh. Then I'd have diarrhea all day. I think we all react to different ones in a different way.

Mine are 30 cal a day and 8 carbs, but it's all I can do to almost reach my calorie goal per day so I don't worry. That's for 3 a day. Not 30 calories each

I plugged my own CPAP in. It's just a little humidifier thing with a mask.

Also your throat is sore from the breathing tube placed there during surgery.

Wow. That's early. I'm 7 weeks out and my hair loss hasn't hit me yet.

I couldn't drink after eating anything if I wanted to unless I want it to come back up. For an hour or more. I must be slow to digest.

Bariatric fusion chews. They taste good and don't make me nauseous.

Are you tracking your intake on MFP? If I eat too few calories I will not lose. If I eat below 600 the scale will not move. I am supposed to hit between 800-900 a day.
