I am 4 days post-op and feeling pretty good. Minimal pain, getting up and walking a lot. Im very bloated and gasey. I should have started a stool softener but did not because it wasn't ordered. However, i am using gas-x which helps to an extent. Weighed myself yesterday, bad idea. Im up 11 pounds since surgery but ill keep trucking along

Incisions look amazing... Only itching like crazy due to my skin being irritated from adhesives!
I got moved up to yogurt, sf pudding, cream of rice and cream Soups
Down 16 lbs since Weds but down 44lbs since pre surgery!!!

Well, that didn't work. Haha. Tried the quote thing. Anyway, my doctor told me 6 weeks, however, said those that sit at a dedk could go back sooner. I'm a nurse so always on my feet. Also, they said it's not all for recovery per se, but for adjusting to the new eating and drinking as well.

I'm getting sleeved December 6th. All tests are done just have to get my leave of absence approved and do a pre-op class. So excited!
