I have absolutely no desire to have candy of any kind. chocolate, fruity, none of it. All the stuff you eat before and after surgery are so sweet, that I got over it real quick. I want savory and salty now! Hah.

There is a great support group on fb called the sassy sleevers. It is awesome! Pls check it out love it there!!

I did go back to work today, but only half a day. I felt that I could have stayed all day, but got pretty tired, so I decided to go on home. I'm feeling a bit lazy...lol. I would love to just take the rest of the week off, but getting behind at work worries me so I'll tough it out and go back tomorrow.

Mashed potatoes (or any potatoes) are not allowed on my diet. I have to focus on high Protein, low carb. But given that, I can only eat 1 - 2 ounces, especially if I get the dense Protein first.

Hours to go!!! I'm first one in the morning. Have to leave at 4am to get there by 5am (6am Eastern). Can't wait till its over and done with! This pre-op diet was difficult. Even today I went to a meeting and they had bite sized candy bars available. I picked up a Mounds and held it for a while before finally putting it back....argh!!!!

I was cleared by my surgeon on jan 9... Paper work was sent to Cigna on and received 1/29... Went in review on 2/4... My surgeon scheduled my date for 2/25.... Which is Tuesday... As of this morning still in review. Spoke to a wonderful supervisor this morning who was taking my case up to the nurses herself. Hope to hear this afternoon! I took off work, hubby child care taken care of , my mom is helping me as well. Fingers crossed. All my criteria has been met... I've been told several times that it takes up to 30 working business days.

You're on full liquids... for a reason. No.. no cheese stick or other non full liquids. Were you aware of this stage prior to surgery and not prepared?
Get your head into the game of succeeding or yes, you will fail.
For your safety you have to follow the prescribed diet.

Never had surgery before not so much nervous, but excited to get on with this new chapter in my life.

Mine is scheduled on the 25th and I am the 1st one, I have followed the pre-op diet. I have lost 13 lbs on it. I am starting to get really nervous, 1st major operation, I hope everything goes well.

My surgery is Tuesday also! I'm down 27 pounds preop. I'm in Fredericksburg,VA.

Today I received 4 cases of premiere protien each contains 18 servings and a 30 day supply of liquid Multivitamin. Looks like some papers I'm supposed to fill out and return as well but I'm working right now and didn't have a chance to really look them over..yayy Friday!

I did and lost 35 lbs on 6 months! Surgery is Tuesday the 25th. Yippee.
