Marcy, Sounds like you are doing great! I doubt if you are grazing, but I know what you mean! Come evening and I HAVE to have something! I have been on an ice cream kick lately and that is definitely not helping the cause! Not nearly as much as I would have had prebanding, but definitely more than I need! I also had 2 slices of cheese pizza today and I KNOW I could have had more!!! Stopped myself, but would have loved to have it! Now, chicken has got stuck several times for me!!! I also notice if I eat something like that though, I am full much faster and do seem quite a bit more satisfied! I guess there is some truth to the protein thing and like the doc said to stay away from the mushies and shakes, because they go down way too smooth and really don't satisfy us or work the band the right way! Guess it makes sense! Darn, sometimes you really want them to be wrong!!!! LOL

Hi, not sure why, but really having trouble logging in and staying on here! Hope all is well with everyone! I read about how the breasts are shrinking and I have noticed that too! My bras aren't filled out in the cups like they were. Not complaining though, cause I am much larger in that area than I would like to be anyway, but definitely a difference! I have had a fill and currently have 3 in my band. However, I can still eat quite a bit! Just not meat and breads! Is this pretty much what everyone is finding? Kathy, sorry I missed you last evening!

I AM proud of you, if a basket of chocolate was sitting in front of me these past few days, I KNOW I would have HAD to have it! I am such a stress eater, lol! ... not to mention that chocolate and I are old friends, lol! Definitely my comfort food! Can't wait for these 3 days off! Been quite a trying week! YIKES:eek:

Yes, it does help, because nights are my downfall! I could eat everything in sight! But the tightening is not much fun and actually rather painful, so definitely a detriment! LOL

Can't blame you! I would be upset too! Isn't there anything else you can do? Seems there should be a way to approach this situation! You get tired of always just letting things slide! They sure don't, lol! Marcy, love your pics! You are a hoot!!! Love the baggy jeans!!! Hi, everyone! Hope all is well and that everyone is losing. I seem to be on hold here lately. Not sure why, but nothing seems to be happening! Lynette, Chim, Dini, Kathy, Sunny ... hope all is well with each of you! Really missing everyone and haven't had much free time lately! Hope to catch some of you online real soon!

Lynette, You said Hunter is 3, right? Don't stress over him not being able to "write." Let him use crayons and help him hold them correctly, let him cut "random" pieces of paper, and start introducing him to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. Say his ABC's, count to 5, let him sort socks and find the "matches." Writing will come with time. He has to understand what "letter" is, before writing will make any sense to him. I start the year out with 4 year olds and I know there will only be 6 or so that will be able to write their names. Now, by November they all will be writing some "semblance" of a name, but honestly, at 3, everything is just an introduction. Don't stress it!!! Enjoy your "little" boy and just make every learning adventure a fun game or treasure hunt! Like let's ... go on an adventure hunt and look for Circles today!!! Really doesn't have to be much more than that right now! Just my take on it all! It will come with time and maturity. He shouldn't be expected to "know" all those things yet! He is just now getting to the point where he will want to do those things.

Marcy, You are too much, lol! You crack me up! I am sooo glad you were able to lose, but there is no way I would be able to eat the chicken after I harvested it!!! I have trouble with fish, because when I was younger I spent an entire day cleaning blue gills for my dad and 3 brothers!!! Venison is another one, ate it when I was young, but now, can't do it ... get awful images of my dad and brothers butchering them!!! I wish I wasn't that way, but if I think about any animal, I won't be able to eat the meat!!! Even milk can turn my stomach! I eat meat, but I could sooooo easily become a vegetarian, lol!!!

Chim, Nice to hear from you! You are so upbeat and positive! Good for everyone's morale!!!!! Sounds like you are doing well! Won't be long til you WILL have a family of your own and you will be GOOD at it!!! You have major heart! Love it!!!!!! Kathy, I love the pic, looks like you all had a nice time! You are looking hot, Girl!!! Wonderful!!! It won't be long now, 'til it's official!!!! Lovely family! Miss chatting! Jackie, Congrats on the bike ride! Isn't it amazing what a few pounds will do, lol????? I am soooo loving riding with my honey!!!!!! Major shocker to me!!! LOL School is officially starting tomorrow, Weds. Had an Inservice day and an Act 80 day so far. Been working way overtime lately, lol! Hours and hours at school and many more at home on paperwork and paper prep. A bit overwhelming right now and we've had soooo many changes from last year that you don't even know where to start! It's a shame that when things start, it is anything but "all about the kids!!!" Just isn't in the plan, lol! ShannonRT, you are welcome for the list! Not sure it is totally complete, but shouldn't be too far off! There still may be some place that they have it listed, but I sure don't know where it is! Peaches, how was the fill? Hope all went smoothly! ssankofa73 I can sooo see and feel my port! It kind of juts out, lol! Only4me, I have had a few "comfortable" foods cause me problems in unexpected situations. I think, I get too comfortable with certain foods and forget to eat slowly and chew, chew, chew. Not sure, just seems to be what triggers mine. Glad you are doing well otherwise. I also feel more restricted at night, no idea why, I know others say they feel like that in the morning, but mine seems to be in the evenings. Go figure, if it is bizarre, it will happen to me, lol! AppleBlossom and all the other mothers that have sent their children to school ... Enjoy your time!!! Never had that kind of time, I suppose some day and then I will miss my girls terribly and will complain of too much time, lol!

We're having a busy weekend. We've sort of "moved in" to our oldest daughter's house to "babysit" our 17 yr old granddaughter... I know, like trying to nail jello to a tree!! Phyllser, loved the comparison! How cute! Sounds like you really enjoy your grandchildren! That is awesome! You and the kids will have wonderful memories of the time you spend together! They grow up quickly!!! Enjoy every moment!

Welcome Back! Hey, we all have had the computer issues, lol! I guess we smoked them and burned them up on this message board, lol!!! Glad you are back online! It took me 6 weeks to get the repairman to finally get it right with mine and the warranty company!!!! Then takes another week to get everything on the computer back up and running, lol!!! Kathy, the fills do help! I am finding I definitely can't eat as much and that is good! Today I had about 1/2 cup of scrambled eggs and a fourth of a slice of toast for breakfast, 1/2 cup of roast beef/gravy and 1/2 c. mashed potatoes/gravy for lunch, then 1/2 chicken breast and 1/2 c. baked beans for supper and I couldn't have ate another bite!

Lynette, Glad you had a nice day with your mom! I love omelettes! Eggs really seem to go down well and I don't have much trouble with them. Now, chicken is another story! LOL ... and turkey! Yikes, both have got me a few times ... hopefully, I will learn. Does seem if I dip them in mayo or ranch dressing or gravy or whatever, that they don't cause as much of a problem, but man when they do, OUCH!!!!:faint: Oh, and I was curious ... what was Hunter expected to do for his pre-school exam? Seems to be much more indepth than ours! So glad everything worked out! Keep us posted as to how things are going with him! He is such a cutie! Where is everyone else? MIA!!!! Gee, hard to catch anyone nowadays!!! Sunny, hope things are getting a little better for you! I know how hard it is to lose a pet and it takes a lot of time to recover! We are thinking of you! Hope your baby's birthday was special!!!! :clap2: Dini, hope vacation is going wonderfully and that you have great stories to tell us about! Chim, hope you are doing well! Work, work, work! Kathy, hope all is well with you and your family! Miss chatting with you! Hope to hear from you soon! I do enjoy riding the bike and never would have thought I would! Still, amazes me that when I was 50 pounds less, I thought I was too big, lol!!! Who knows what makes the difference, has to be in the brain, lol! My aunt says I'm living like I'm already a thin person, lol! Well, whatever it is, I am enjoying it! lol:whoo: Missing everyone and not getting on as much lately! School Inservices the next two days and tons and tons of paperwork!!!:cry Hate the paperwork, love the kids, but could do without the paperwork!!! ... but do miss everyone here and will make an effort to check in now and again! Sure hope everyone is doing well!

Hi, Everyone! Seems everyone is sooo busy and doing all the right things! That is awesome! I am feeling really good, not noticing a lot with restriction, but like I said haven't really tested it either, lol! Just kind of going with the flow, but I did have a chicken breast for supper and ate about 1/3 of it dipped in ranch dressing, had 1/4 pierogi, and a teaspoon of potato salad and felt tightening, so I quit! Then I burp!!! Hate that, but seems to be my cue to quit!!! Noticed the burps are louder and more pronounced since my fill!!! I guess they won't be silent anymore, yikes!!!!:huggie:

Lynette, What is Hunter expected to do for PreSchool? His skills would be limited at this point and as a public school, he should be eligible regardless. They are not to exclude any children for anything other than maturity. We have "suggested" that some children spend another year at home ... reasons being that the child was extremely clingy and unwilling to leave Mom's side, wasn't potty trained, unable to even hold a crayon, nearly no verbal skills, etc. However, if the parent would insist the child still come, they would be allowed to send them. Still, when we suggest a child be held out another year, we also suggest they inquire about the local Head Start Program, so that another year out of the school system doesn't push that child even further behind. From what I have read (I skimmed some of the past posts), the school is expecting a great deal more than that. We do test on the basic shapes, writing names, counting, some letter recognition, colors, fine motor skills (ie.drawing a pic of themself), saying their names and age, as well as, some pre-reading skills. However, these tests are more for our benefit ... we use these tests to put children of varying learning points in each of our 4 classrooms, so that no one teacher gets all the highs or all those struggling. It gives us an idea of where the children are educationally and gives us a "starting" point.
