Congratulations on making out good through your surgery.

I found out the past few days why I haven't told to many people. I actually had someone whom I thought was a big help for me in the past tell me, I was taking the easy way out. I about wanted to burst into tears. I held them back & said, you obviously have no idea what this is... Now my decision is solid. No one else will no. I don't need that in my life, it's part of why I am the way I am, I don't need approval from anyone, this is my life & I'm taking it back for me.

Congratulations!! So happy to hear you got through the surgery!!! Today is the beginning of everything!!

Sleeved 9/3. Finally feeling human again. Was released from the hospital today(again) after being readmitted for dehydration. New pain and nausea meds made a world of difference.
If your suffering at home, don't be afraid to pester the doc and maybe even go back in if you need too. Your health is worth it.

PLEASE, I pray all of you have MOM.... MILK of Magnesium in your pantry, IF NOT SEND FOR IT ASAP.! after about 3 days after surgery you will need to "evacuate" the premises" MOM is the fastest and best way!!!!.. Take a tablespoon........ if that does not get the "movement" going, take another TBSP... remember MOM is your FRIEND........ Stay close to the bathroom as she will make you RUN, .. BUT you will be so relieved and HAPPY that you took it...............I did not KNOW this PRE my surgery...... and OMG............ I know what $hitting a brick feels like......... I even gave myself enemas...... it was SO PAINFUL......... they did NOT HELP................ MOM LOVES YOU...........and will make it all RUN smoo0ooothhhhhly......... just stay close to the bathroom. UNTIL u feel good enough to go a FEW days..... take MOM......... you have to keep the stuff moving OUT....... SMOOTHLY for u to FEEL GOOD

Drink your water.......NO ALCOHOL for MONTHS.............. You just had a life changing surgery!! YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES~~ IF U WANT TO SUCCEED!!!! Bottom Line.........IT IS UP TO U..; DO NOT LOSE 50 LBS and THINK U can CHEAT......... YOU WILL FAIL >>>>> BIG TIME>>>>>>>>>>>> BBBBBIIIIGGGG TIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Do NOT come back in 18 Months and say I had the sleeve and I have GAINED 50 LBS YOU WILL FAIL and YOU were not sincere when you had the surgery.... NOR were YOU serious.......... YOU need to look DEEP within and get serious. The Sleeve is NOT the ANSWER///////// U R...U have to DO WHAT IT IS TO LOSE AND KEEP IT OFF!!!!!!!!!! Had the sleeve & hernia. Doing ok, on oxygen about 2 hours after, some gas pain, went to the bathroom. Already & up on my feet walking in my room twice. Still light headed, so they said no laps quite yet. It's still early. So there's still a lot that could happen. Time will tell. Just remember while in the hospital to Breath Deep as you can, it helps with the gas pain. Move you feet while in bed or sitting, helps prevent clots. & walk ASAP

Surgery tomorrow! Should be done in a room by noon

I'm not hungry at all. I'm so ready for tomorrow to come, I hope all have a good go & speedy recovery onto the next chapter of our lives.
Soon enough it'll be tomorrow my check in time is 6:30 mountain standard time. Have to be up at 5 & out of the house by 5:30.
