I am just ready as I can be for the New me. Sick of being Extremely over weight & people around me helping me be blind to it. I always keep a Smile on my face but I am tired of trying to hide my pain. So now there is no more hiding, its just a matter of working this all off to be Happy in my own body. Good luck on all your journey's. Also I have had no problem with water other than remembering not to gulp. I have gotten back up to drinking about 80oz my personal goal is 100oz. since March I have been drinking a lot more than that. 1/2 my body weight in ounces. my heights weight was 308. I lost on my own to 260, then sadly it came back, till I decided that I could not do it on my own. I'll use a quote from a thread I read a few weeks ago, "I yo-yo dieted myself to obesity..." granted there are a Ton of other contributors & also genetics.

Hi my name Bea im having surgy sept 16 im very nervous but you make it sound its not that bad thanks for you story
It wasn't as bad as I had thought. I had the same fears everyone else has, I kept my eye on what I want in life & pushed through my self doubt. There are people who have complications, But you get that in any surgery. Well in anything in life. There is no guarantee. I personally have tried so many diets & group garbage & pills. The time was right, I know people who have had success with all that, I also know a couple ladies that had major things happen from taking diet drugs, 3 to be exact. 3, 1 had a heart attack & in doing great now the other 2 had strokes & have life long effects. that was when I decided that was it, I started looking into this surgery & did tons of hours of research, & went to all my pre-op appointments & listened & took note. This is only a 1/3 of the tool to get the weight off. I have just started & hoping to be able to keep going forward. Good luck to you as well.

It's just a matter of getting the timing down, I don't think the 2 weeks will be to bad. just the word Diet really gets my body tied in knots.
It will all work-out!

Good Luck. It's sad that this seems to be a pattern with a lot of us. I have more than spent the cost of what this surgery cost in, pills, trainers, membership fee's, gas, special foods, Dr visits for Rx's, potions & lotions... Then when I went t see my Surgeon he was looking through my family history & said yes, some is me, some is also genetics. I have asked Dr's that for years. they say well yes genetics play but you can take control. I cried in the Surgeons office. He said that it happens a lot. here's to a new life. Good Luck on your Journey.

I am sticking with Vanilla. You can add flavoring as needed to change it up. I only bought 1 thing of it, to try it out & see how it taste. I figure I will have plenty of time to figure out what works. I just need to get some Sugar Free popsicles & Jello. Find some Broth the thought of that sound very unappealing. I am not a soup fan, but time will tell, it might be my FAVORITE.

Yes, I am to the point where I feel pretty good, other than once in awhile my belly itches, or my clothing catches on of the incisions. there still is a bit of pain when I lay on my right side, but that is expected.
