  1. I'm only 6 weeks out and just came home from a Disney Cruise. I was quite nervous about the food' date=' but I explained to the waiter what I've been through and he understood why I was only eating a few bites of my entree. I never ordered the appetizers or salads. At first I missed not being able to eat the good food, but I felt so much better about myself afterwards! I made this cruise more about the experience with my husband and children then about the food. I will be able to weigh myself when I get home to see how I did! I'm nervous just a tad to see if I lost! Here is to many more cruise experiences rather than the food experience!![/quote']

I'm going on a cruise on Friday. Looking forward to doing just as you said, enjoying non-food activities. Was thinking I'd take my camelback Water bottle with me to make sure i keep hydrated. Oh, I will be three months out on 11/12.

  2. Been in a stall for the last 2 weeks (seems longer than that!)' date=' but I'm losing inches. Fit into a size Medium top today and I think the size 14 bottoms are right around the corner. Started off 8/12/2013 in a size 18/20. XXL. Just thought I would share for those in stall - yes, you are losing inches even if the darn scale won't move :)[/quote']

My surgery was same date as yours. As of today I'm in a size 16 jeans. Very happy about that.

  3. So, this is the first time I've felt full since being sleeved. I wasn't sure what to expect, based on things I'd read, but it feels the same to me. Definitely knew when it was time to stop. I was a bit uncomfortable for a little while but I've never really enjoyed the feeling of fullness. I was more of a grazer. Really hoping to have grazing behind me now.

  4. Eat as much yogurt as you want and need to supplement any other sources of Protein and fluids to meet your requirements. Just make sure it is nonfat Greek yogurt and has no added sugar or fruit. When on liquids' date=' I drank no Protein drinks and got most of my protein from Greek yogurt. There was no specific limit on how much I could have at any one time. This was sanctioned by my nutritionist.[/quote']

This is the post I meant to quote... I didn't know I could eat more than a small amount of things like yogurt.

  5. I had the same thing. the greek yougurt was the easiest to eat as well as scrambled egg (after the Fluid stage) yet other things like pureed meats' date=' pudding , refried Beans were difficult. your stomach will tell you what you can have. for me yogurt saved me becasue i was having a tough time getting enough Protein.[/quote']

Wow, I didn't know that. I've only had one per day. I will bump that up now. This will help my Protein a lot!

  6. I'm just over two weeks out and on full liquids. Finding it kinda surprising that I can eat about 5 oz of greek yogurt with no problem at all. Is this due to the soft consistency? I'm just wondering why I'm not feeling stuffed by this volume? I haven't tried anything dense so am assuming that will be completely different experience. Should I limit my yogurt to 2 oz or go ahead and eat the container?

  7. I actually had the slimes while in the hospital. I was there for two extra days because nothing agreed with me. On the morning of the fifth day it all cleared up and I was able to go home. Since then I had it happen only once more and it was shortly after coming home.
