I agree! They just want to build up their clientele for the money... Sad! I truly hope this does not interfere with your surgery plans.

The incentives of doing this surgery gets better and better. LOL! Sex for me is always GREAT so to know that it will get better literally blows my mind...hehehehe

    physc appoinment today

DANG! That is frustrating! I am currently seeing a therapist now separate from the Phsyc eval that is mandatory for the surgery. My appt is in November and I am nervous that this therapist will say the same thing too. Wonder what the re-precautions will be if they don't clear me. Would love to know if anyone else on here had this happened to them too. Good luck and I hope you get to have your surgery in December.
  6. See me ticker below. Got a little ways to go, but excited that it will actually happen.
  7. You guys are making me laugh. I haven't sleeved yet, but I know I would have the same feeling. Looking forward to it. Congrats on your accomplishments!

    Fab 40's shout out

I am so with you on that! As for the hair, I don't know yet. Haven't had my surgery yet, but I have been taking biotin for the past 2 months and I have also been doing a lot of protein conditioner treatments for my hair, so hopefully what I am doing will prevent hair loss. Fingers crossed!

    Fab 40's shout out

WOW! Your life almost sounds like mine. I am 41 turning 42 in January too. Not divorced, but things are not well. I too need to lose 120 lbs to reach my goal weight and also plan on getting a breast reduction (always have breast issues). I am so ready myself. I told myself by the time I am 45 I want to be at my BEST EVER! So looking forward to it.

    The Video

Today I finally watched the video my surgeon office told me I have to watch and now I am feeling freaked out. I know with every surgery there is a risk, but now I am feeling really nervous. At first I was so excited especially reading and seeing all the success on this site, but for the first time since I decided to have this surgery I am nervous. Talk about a Debbie Downer video!

    The Video

The risks and surgery in general. The last surgery I had it was not a good one and my recovery took months. Even waking up from the anesthesia was difficult for me so hearing all the risks made me nervous. Not that I didn't hear it before, but I guess since my surgery date is growing closer my nerves are kicking it. The video took some of the excitement I had.
